Algae is good for Water?

Found this ditty on the “Whatcom Excavator” ( a local blog dedicated to dredging up the waste in government spending and policy) and just had to share it with you.

More tax dollars spent to eradicate what nature provides as a natural consequence to clean the environment.Sus Devp (small)

A Clean Green 2-for-1

Algae can treat your wastewater and then fill up your tankJust what are algae capable of? According to researchers at the Rochester Institute of Technology, just about anything short of mixing a cocktail. They can clean your wastewater, fuel up your car, and then help grow a fish for your dinner.

Associate professor of biological sciences Jeff Lodge says his team of researchers initially had more modest aspirations: they were interested in producing biodiesel from algae and were looking for a cheaper source of nutrients to grow the algae. Other researchers had previously grown algae in wastewater from dairy farms, and municipal wastewater seemed worth a try as well.

“And we found out our algae just love it,” Lodge says of the wastewater from two nearby municipal treatment plants. “Then it just kind of struck us, well, what are they doing to the wastewater?”

The team measured the nutrient levels in the water and found that after about three days of growth, the algae remove virtually all of the undesirable compounds such as ammonia, phosphate, and nitrate. In addition, they deplete carbon dioxide from the water, which raises the pH—and kills off pathogens.  Click here to read the full story.

ICLEI is not the United Nations, but it’s chartered through the UN

For those of you who are following the connection between ICLEI/LGS, Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development and your property rights, I am posting the latest update from Tom DeWeese, of the American Policy Center.Sus Devp (small)

Yours In Truth, Shelly

NEW STRATEGIES IN THE FIGHT TO STOP AGENDA 21

Plantation, Florida has just voted to NOT renew its ICLEI contract. That’s the eighth community in eight months to take such action. Plantation joins the growing list that includes Carroll County, MD; Amador County, CA; Edmond, OK; Las Cruces, NM; Spartanburg, SC and Albemarle, VA.

This is wonderful, positive news, indicating that more and more elected officials are starting to hear our arguments against this wrenching transformation of our country. For the first time I’m getting calls and letters from elected officials asking for more information. I am getting invitations to appear on new radio shows that have never aired this issue before. In June, I was contacted by the Glenn Beck show as he prepared an entire program on Agenda 21. He even linked APC information to his blog. I’ve now been contacted by one leading presidential candidate, along with a possible major donor who is considering helping us fund the fight. In addition to all of that, daily I hear from an ever growing list of activists working in their communities to stop Agenda 21. A revolution is certainly under way across the country.

However, as we are gaining success, we are also beginning to face stiffer resistance from the proponents of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. More than ever we are hearing their charges of “conspiracy theories,” “fringe nuts,” and “extremism.” It’s to be expected. We are openly challenging them and they are feeling the heat. That means, as we move forward, it’s vitally important that anti-Agenda 21 activist be very careful with how they approach local government to express their opposition.

I’m finding that there is a bit of a misconception in regard to one of the main proponents of Agenda 21, and it is hurting our ability to make progress in the fight. It is vitally important that we all get the following facts right when launching our attacks against ICLEI. Please read carefully. The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) has been a main target by the anti-Agenda 21 forces. We targeted ICLEI because it has a clear United Nations connection, making it easier for us to make our case to elected officials about the UN connection to Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development policy. However, some have misunderstood the ICLEI role and have misrepresented who it is and what it does. The result, in some cases, is that our legitimate arguments have been be ignored and even laughed at. Click here to read the full story.

Iranian Pastor Sentenced to Death: Nadarkhani Refuses to Convert

By Daniel D. Tovrov | September 29, 2011 10:35 AM EDT

Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who is facing the death penalty, again refused to convert to Islam to save his life.

Nadarkhani was arrested in 2009 for the crime of apostasy because he allegedly abandoned Islam for Christianity. As a pastor, Iranian clerics believe that Nadarkhani was preaching in order to convert Muslims.

Before his last hearing Wednesday, Nadarkhani had been given three previous chances to repent, and all three times he has refused. After his final refusal Wednesday, no verdict has been announced, but many expect that he could be put to death as soon as Friday.

The case has slowly garnered international attention, and there are a number of Christian rights groups advocating for his release.  Click here for the full story.

$1 bil energy loan ($1.05 mil per job)

The Solyndra story gets bigger and darker as some journalists start digging into the policies of the Obama Administration’s Energy Department philosophy of spending whatever it takes to construct solar “anything”.

I’ve posted two stories here.  The first story is a continuation of how “Solyndra”  squandered money on un-needed items for the plant.  The second story is about “two” energy loans approved today (two days before the deadline on the energy stimulus money availability) to build “two” solar plants, at a cost of $1billion in energy loans for 900 construction jobs and 52 permanent jobs.  That’s $1.05million per job!Sus Devp (small)

The glass-and-metal building that Solyndra LLC began erecting alongside Interstate 880 in Fremont, California, in September 2009 was something the Silicon Valley area hadn’t seen in years: a new factory.

It wasn’t just any factory. When it was completed at an estimated cost of $733 million, including proceeds from a $535 million U.S. loan guarantee, it covered 300,000 square feet, the equivalent of five football fields. It had robots that whistled Disney tunes, spa-like showers with liquid-crystal displays of the water temperature, and glass-walled conference rooms.  Click here for the full story.

Obama admin approves 2 solar loans worth $1BAP Photo

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Energy Department on Wednesday approved two loan guarantees worth more than $1 billion for solar energy projects in Nevada and Arizona, two days before the expiration date of a program that has become a rallying cry for Republican critics of the Obama administration's green energy program.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the department has completed a $737 million loan guarantee to Tonopah Solar Energy for a 110 megawatt solar tower on federal land near Tonopah, Nev., and a $337 million guarantee for Mesquite Solar 1 to develop a 150 megawatt solar plant near Phoenix.

The loans were approved under the same program that paid for a $528 million loan to Solyndra Inc., a California solar panel maker that went bankrupt after receiving the money and laid off 1,100 workers. Solyndra is under investigation by the FBI and is the focal point of House hearings on the program.

SolarReserve LLC, of Santa Monica, Calif., the parent company for Tonopah, is privately held. The Energy Department said its rules prevented it from discussing the company's financial information. Sempra Energy of San Diego, which owns Mesquite, is publicly held.

Energy Department spokesman Damien LaVera said the two projects had extensive reviews that included scrutiny of the parent companies' finances.

Chu said the Nevada project would produce enough electricity to power more than 43,000 homes, while the Arizona project would power nearly 31,000 homes. The two projects will create about 900 construction jobs and at least 52 permanent jobs, Chu said.  Click here for the full story.

Whether you use the slogan; “Sustainable Development” is stealing the “American Dream”, or “Hands Off My Home”, (link to Hands off My Home website) the use of eminent domain is alive and well in Whatcom County.  Spend some time learning about how the United Nations Agenda 21 for “Sustainable Development” is a threat to all property rights and constitutional protections.

From the Whatcom Excavator; 09/24/2011:

Every day we see more property rights slip sliding away, and it's clear that this has become a systematic abuse of civil rights.  Consider that "Just as slavery was an abomination to natural rights, the seizure of personal property for “public benefit” is an affront to America’s founding principles.  Frederick Douglass who was born a slave believed that he owned himself and his labor.  When the state takes the fruits of our labor without our consent, either through taxes or diminished property rights, they are taking part of our life that we will never get back.  Conceptually, there is very little to distinguish this from slavery."   [Attorney and author Timothy Sandefur explains this in great detail in his book, "Cornerstone of Liberty, Property Rights in 21st Century America."] Click here to read the full story.

Think “Solyndra” is a freak example of “Pay to Play”? Think again!

Looking over emails and news hi-lights, I like to peruse the comments for links to related articles that didn’t make it to the headlines of the mainstream media.  The article posted below I found interesting, and wanted to share with you.  The original article was about the 2012 Continuing Resolution, of which the Republican House has stripped further funding for activities like SolyndraThe comment section contained a link to this article on “Abound Solar”, Colorado’s own Solyndra.

The Republican’s in Congress have cut further energy underwriting with your tax dollars, to offset the additional funds needed for 2012 and FEMA.  Wasn’t the selling point of the agreed upon 2011 CR, that any increased, future spending, was to be offset with an equal dollar in spending cuts?

Be sure to contact your Republican or Democrat, Congressman and/or Senator, to show your support for principled representation in politics, such as the 2012 Congressional version for Continuing Resolution.  The few jobs created for an average cost of $300,000.00 per job in the “green economy’”, isn’t due to it’s environmental superiority, it is due to the number of “Benjamin’s”, it’s bringing to private businesses and public Universities to nudge society ever closer to the brink of economic collapseThe public/private compacts that have contributed to the demise of real free markets, continue to be politically accepted and are a stark example of the public’s tolerance for fiscal malfeasance, in their hopes of getting some of that “free” money.

Counting the Democrat Bodies Involved in a Taxpayer-Guaranteed Loan

Email Amy Oliver | Columnist's Archive

By now it’s obvious that the Solyndra scandal never should have happened.  It’s not even a case of Monday morning quarterbacking. A number of people involved could see the disaster coming.

There is a larger principle here. Government should not use taxpayer money to socialize risk while privatizing profits. Examples such as Colorado-based Abound Solar, which received a $400 million loan guarantee, prove that crony capitalism simply rewards the well connected at taxpayer expense.

Abound Solar

Abound Solar, according to its Web site, “produces next-generation thin-film cadmium telluride solar modules” and “is committed to reducing the cost of solar electricity to levels competitive with fossil fuels.”

It is the brainchild of former Colorado State University (CSU)Professor W.S. Sampath and two former students Kurt Barth and Al Enzenroth.  It began as AVA Solar and then incorporated into Abound in 2007.

The Web site says it employs 350 people in three Colorado locations.  Its Colorado manufacturing plant is located in Weld County, which granted Abound up to $100,000 per year for the next ten years in business property tax rebates.  According to sources, the reason for the rebate was job creation intended to benefit Weld County residents. Yet when officials and interested parties ask how many of the 350 jobs have gone to Weld County residents, the solar company does not answer.

Currently Abound has a manufacturing capacity of 65 megawatts expanding to 850 megawatts – at some point. However, in 2010 it manufactured only 30 megawatts. One wonders, if Abound can produce more, why doesn’t it? Click to read full story.

“Days of Rage” or Union Rage for Relevance and a call for Marxism?

The news media has given the public dribs and drabs with regards to the “Days of Rage” protestors in New York and around the United States, who portray themselves as grassroots activists, that want to bring down “Wall Street”.  There is a teensy-weensy bit of information that the news media has intentionally (?) not included in their reporting of this story...”The Days of Rage” is an SEIU (Service Employees International Union) sponsored, contrived and implemented event.  The SEIU’s own “Stephen Lerner” is the major player who has been putting the teams together to go out and gin-up support for this event and even though Glenn Beck reported on this event about 3 months ago, the media ignored the event and still ignores the “union” connection.  Will you question why the media had chosen to give half the story and who benefits from this blatant omission of facts?

WHO IS BEHIND THE ‘US DAY OF RAGE’ TO ‘OCCUPY’ WALL STREET THIS SEPTEMBER 17TH?

What, exactly, is a “US Day of Rage?” Well, on September 17th we may find out for certain, but until then, The Blaze is revealing what information does exist about this very nefarious-sounding campaign.

A US Day of Rage is the title given to a day of ostensibly “non-violent” civil disobedience orchestrated by a group of radicals — that reportedly include SEIU’s Stephen Lerner and ACORN founder Wade Rathke (who, coincidentally, formerly served as president of SEIU’s local New Orleans branch) — targeting Wall Street and U.S. capitalism. It’s worth noting that the title of the movement — if its intentions are indeed non-violent in nature — appears to contradict itself slightly.

But what is perhaps even more interesting than its title is who is allegedly behind the movement.  Click here to read the full story.

SEIU plans days of rage against Wall Street

- Online By F. Vincent Vernuccio and Matthew Vadum Monday, July 18, 2011

Conducting interviews on this topic is the author of Subversion, Inc., Matthew Vadum.

From Capital Research Center publication Organization Trends, July 2011
By F. Vincent Vernuccio and Matthew Vadum

Summary: Led by the radical Service Employees International Union (SEIU), left-wing unions and activist groups have been planning to launch a national campaign of economic strong-arming and sabotage. Their plan envisions mortgage and student loan strikes and bank boycotts. Also contemplated are acts of harassment and intimidation directed against bank officials, corporate heads and public officials deemed to be enemies of the people.

On March 25 ACORN founder Wade Rathke, a one-time president of an SEIU local in New Orleans, announced what he described as “days of rage in ten cities around JP Morgan Chase.” Rathke said the forthcoming campaign of demonstrations, strikes and disruption will mark “the beginning of the anti-banking jihad.”

This kind of inflammatory language hasn’t been in the news since the days of Patty Hearst, the Weathermen, and the Black Panthers. But it has always characterized the rhetoric of left-wing activists. Now, as the labor movement lurches increasingly to port in frustration at the stalemated politics of Washington, D.C., you can expect to hear more fighting words from the activist Left.

Since at least the late 1960s, the American Left has embraced what could be characterized as economic strong arming. Striking fear into the hearts of bigcorporations is a tactic that has proven to be both politically useful-and lucrative. The shakedown artists of ACORN and Jesse Jackson’s Wall Street Project can attest to that.  Click here to read the full story.

Shifting the Winds for 2012

With all conversations between the Independents, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Green Party, Socialist Party, Communist Party, et al…where have we heard anyone speaking out against Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development, ICLEI, Local Governments for Sustainability, the United Nations Wildlands Project or Project 60?  We can elect the same politicians or we can elect all new politicians, but we will not cure what ails the United States of America until we address the erosion of the protections guaranteed the United States citizen’s under our Constitution, unless we get the politician’s and the voters to talk openly and honestly about this issue.

Some have told me that this sentence; “Sustainable Development is stealing the American Dream”, will be vilified as the “White Man’s Dream”Has the American Dream been only the dream of the white man?  I do not believe that statement is true. The American Dream is not a dream of a house, home, 2.5 children and a white picket fence for me.  The American Dream for me is all about Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Property (happiness), where each individual can guide the path of their own life and achieve as much or little as they choose to work for.  These are the civil liberties that must be guarded for all U.S. citizens and the future citizens of a great country that offers the great dream, the American Dream.

What do you think? Is the American Dream only the white man’s dream?  Or, is it a vision of success that is attainable to every man, woman and child, as long as we preserve and restore the protections afforded to all of us through the United States Constitution?

What’s the 1st Amendment for?

Whether it goes by the name “Gunwalker” or “Fast and Furious”, the American citizen’s need to wake-up and demand that the media do their job(s)!  What’s the first amendment for?  The MSM doggedly complains about sagging interest and has looked for a handout from the Federal Government to buoy their media sector in print and cable.  Is this the reason that they’re not doing their job and have not been doing it for a very long time?  There is a story here that needs to be fully vetted to the public, because these agencies are all under the umbrella of Homeland Security, who has been given a great deal of unconstitutional powers over the private citizen’s of this nation in the name of protecting “We the People”.  Well that power is being abused and the press will not win back their audience when they blatantly ignore a story of such important public interest.

ATF 'Fast and Furious' secret audio recordings reveal concerns about whistleblower

By

Guns recovered by ATF Agents(Credit: CBS)

In a series of secretly recorded audio tapes believe to have been recorded last March and obtained by CBS News, an Arizona gun dealer and an ATF agent involved with ATF's "Fast and Furious" operation worried about the unraveling scandal.

The tapes were made just weeks after CBS News broke the story in February.

MORE: ATF Fast and Furious secret audio recordings

Secret recordings raise new questions in ATF 'Gunwalker' operation

The conversations were recorded by Andre Howard who ran the Lone Wolf Trading Company.Howard's gun dealership had been cooperating with the ATF in "Fast and Furious." At least two of his weapons were sold to a straw buyer before turning up later at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Hope MacAllister, the ATF agent heard in the conversations, was the lead case agent.

The ATF's controversial "Fast and Furious" operation allowed thousands of weapons to be smuggled into Mexico and into the hands of drug cartels. Agents involved describe it as "letting guns walk."

Among other things, Howard and MacAllister expressed concerns about ATF Special Agent John Dodson, who by that point had gone public about "Fast and Furious" in an exclusive interview with CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson.

(Listen to the audio below)

Agent: I was ordered to let guns into Mexico

They also spoke of their concerns that Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) was investigating, with Agent MacCallister saying of her superiors in Washington, DC, "they're gonna say have to say Grassley you're just gonna have to sit your a-- down."

These recordings are important because MacAllister has never spoken publicly about her involvement in the operation and its fallout and Howard's role as a gun dealer cooperating with the ATF placed him in position to see "Fast and Furious" firsthand . The audio recordings contain new revelations about the guns involved, and ATF's efforts to respond to the breaking scandal. The tapes were turned over to Congressional investigators and the Inspector General in connection with their probe into "Fast and Furious."

The excerpts below refer to whistleblower ATF special agent John Dodson, and a March 9 letterthat Rep. Lamar Smith and 13 other House Judiciary Committee members sent to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding answers regarding "Fast and Furious."

Dealer: He's (Dodson) more toxic than you realize. I can tell you casue I asked him. How much of this f-----g file did you release?

Agent: Mmmhm

Dealer: He said basically the underlying case file. I said okay, who'd you release it to? F-----g Patrick Leahy! Ok? Wasn't just Grassley it was Leahy alright? Leahy as we both know has adjourned this inquiry right now okay with no plans to reconvene it. So your people were successful on that end.

Agent: Right.

Dealer: Obviously that's good. However these other idiots from

Agent: Yeah I saw that. The House?

Dealer: Yeah and that I don't know. What is troublesome with this I expected Darrell Issa's signature to be on this it wasn't. He's your biggest thorn, he hates Holder.

Agent: Yeah. Where's he out of?

Dealer: Darrell Issa?

Agent: Yeah.

Dealer: California.

Agent: California.

Dealer: Lamar Smith you know's out of Texas, I don't know. Holder has to respond to this tomorrow.

Agent: Yeah he's gonna respond.

Dealer: I know he is. And I can assure you the media isn't gonna like his response because basically it's gonna mirror what he's told Grassley.

Agent: Yeah.

Dealer: He can't deviate.

Agent: Well if, I mean I've seen a rough copy at least of what our US Attorney here has sent up. Whether or not he has the b---s to actually use it or not, I doubt it. But I mean it's pretty aggressive. Um. The way I see it our local US Attorney is extremely aggressive. When it gets to DC..

Dealer: Who Emory?

Agent: No...THE US Attorney.

Dealer: Burke, yeah, used to work under Clinton. Guy used to work under Clinton. Talking about Burke?

Agent: MMhmm.

Dealer: yeah well

Agent: But the problem is once it gets to dc it just gets... well you know

(unintell.)

Dealer: Discombobulated that's a good term for it yeah I get that.

Dealer: Let me tell you you got more people out there now talking about this f-----g thing than anything I've ever seen...(unintell.) ... they're not shutting the hell up

Agent: (unintell)

Dealer: and that goes from DHS to f-----g FBI to everybody...

Agent: Yeah.

Dealer: I'm hearing hypothetically on every fringe

Agent: Yeah.

Dealer: Thru third parties and I can assure you they're all like what the hell are they nuts?

EXCERPT 2

Dealer: But you have got to put the word out there to all the departments tell the f------g FBI shut the f--- up. (whispering)

Agent: FBI'S got their own problems, trust me.

Dealer: I know I hear.

Agent: They've got their own problems.

Dealer: Hypothetically.

Agent: If anybody's gonna get sued it's gonna be the FBI in my opinion.

EXCERPT 3

Dealer: What is it with the FBI they just have a h--- on for you guys or what?

Agent: The FBI's got their own problems. Like I said they're focusing on our problems they should probably turn it inward, cause they got their own problems right now.

Dealer: That ain't no lie.

Agent: So.. so hahaha.

EXCERPT 4

Dealer: What's Holders' office got to say about this?

Agent: Well like I said they're supposed to come out with little more um b----y statement than they have in the past, so...

Dealer: God they're (intell)

Agent: I mean at some point they're gonna say have to say Grassley you're just gonna have to sit your a-- down. I mean that or they're gonna have to (unintell). I mean like I said my understanding is he can't call a hearing. Somebody from the majority party has got to call a congressional hearing and as of right now...

Dealer: Patrick Leahy's an a----e, you know that. He gets ahold of something he's like a dog with a bone.

Agent: As of right now we don't have any info that's occurred. So...

Dealer: No, not now, but

Agent: I know there was a presentation given to Judiciary committee and everybody aside from Grassley is is satisfied. At least at this point.

Dealer: So they say you know I don't trust em...

Agent: No but I mean that's all I've got...it's all (unintell.)

But back in Obama's political hometown, those of us familiar with the Chicago Way can see something else in Solyndra — something that the Washington crowd calls "optics." In fact, it's not just a Washington saga — it has all the elements of a Chicago City Hall story, except with more zeros.

A Little Carbon Tax’l Cure What Ails Us

BA faces €50m bill for carbon emissions

By Pilita Clark, Environment Correspondent

ibera and ba

British Airways faces a bill of nearly €50m, the highest of any airline, when carriers around the world are brought into the European Union’s carbon emissions trading scheme next year, a new study estimates.

But BA and other large European carriers will face a relatively smaller burden than their rivals in the US and China, because they should get an average of 81 per cent of the carbon allowances needed under the scheme for free. The Chinese and American carriers will only get an average of up to 64 per cent, says the report by Thomson Reuters Point Carbon, the energy research firm.

The airline industry’s total bill is expected to be €1.1bn ($1.5bn) at today’s carbon prices, the study says. The whole sector may only make a $4bn profit this year, the International Air Transport Association has forecast.

“Compared to airlines’ annual fuel bills, these additional costs are minor, but compared to profits they are considerable,” said Andreas Arvanitakis, Thomson Reuters Point Carbon associate director. “The question is how much of the cost can be passed to passengers and cargo clients.”

The findings come amid a fierce row over the EU’s move to make any airline flying into and within the bloc pay for pollution.

US airlines have taken legal action against what they say is an “astonishing” step, and Chinese complaints have prompted warnings of a trade war from European aircraft-maker Airbus.

Carbon hits

Airlines have been exempt from Europe’s six-year-old cap and trade scheme, the world’s largest, which forces big polluters to pay for their carbon emissions above certain limits.

Carriers will now have to surrender allowances, each equal to one tonne of carbon dioxide, to cover their annual emissions. A portion will be allocated for free but heavy polluters will have to buy more allowances, now trading for about €12 each.

The exact number of free allowances each airline will get will not be known until official figures are published this month. But Point Carbon’s calculations, based on the latest public data, offer an early picture of how airlines’ competitive positions may be affected.

The €50m bill BA faces amounts to €1.66 per passenger, much more than the €0.14 expected for Delta, its US rival on the lucrative London-New York route, says Peter Hind of the RDC Aviation consultancy, whose data are used in the Point Carbon study.

BA said: “Any estimates of the shortfall in our carbon allowances are just that – an estimate. Our own analyses of the costs of the EU ETS to our business are commercially confidential and we would not speculate as to the costs to other airlines.”

Local Ferndale, WA citizen, Bellingham Tea Party President, Karl Uppiano has published a well stated analysis of what’s being taught at the local Democracy School instruction vs. the U.S. Constitution’s protections of the minorities from mob rule.  The main ingredient missing from today’s political activities, is their upholding of the protections given to the individual from the “collectivist”, the “community”, the “globalists”, the “Gaia obsession” to place Mother Earth on a religious pedestal and teach that no human has the right to de-grade her in any way!  Is it naiveté that drives the Democracy School agenda?  Or, is it about the continual push towards full implementation of Agenda 21 through the auspices of  “Sustainable Development”?

2011 National Constitution Week; by Karl Uppiano

On September 17, 1787, The Constitution of The United States was ratified. Saturday, September 17, 2011, on the 224th anniversary, kicks off National Constitution Week.

You might be interested to know that several of our local politicians attended a “Democracy School”, that teaches that The Constitution was a “usurpation” of the Articles of Confederation. To wit,

  1. The Mount Vernon Conference was convened to solve the problems encountered by the Potomac Company, and the Conference led to the Annapolis Convention, which sent a report to Congress urging for a broader meeting to be held in Philadelphia.
  2. Delegates to the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention were a select group representing property-owning white males, that the proceedings were secret and sentries were positioned at the doors, that Madison and Randolph presented the Virginia Plan on the first day, and that minutes of the Convention were not released for over 53 years.
  3. Most of the delegates viewed democracy as rule by the rabble, and called for the crafting of a Constitution that enabled a minority to govern, and which protected the property of the minority from majority governance.
  4. There were a group of people called the anti-federalists who understood what the delegates were attempting, and attempted to stop the ratification of the Constitution.
  5. The Constitution is an anti-majoritarian, slave document that established a minority-rule, slave state.

Please consider telling all of your elected representatives that we believe the un-revised history,

  1. The Articles of Confederation were weak, inhibiting the ability of the several states to cooperate, or even be recognized as a single nation by other countries, especially Great Britain. We were in danger of disintegration. The problems addressed by The Constitution were manifold, and they may have incidentally addressed or hindered various special interests.
  2. Property-owning white males is a modern construct used by statists to justify more centralized government, not a return to more diffuse states’ rights.
  3. The federalists believed that pure democracy suffers from “the tyranny of the majority”, in which minority rights would be overridden by the majority. They created a representative republic in an attempt to help protect minority rights.
  4. When The Constitution was being considered, there were federalists and anti-federalists. Political change always has opposition. As such, the tea parties oppose abandoning constitutional government, and certainly without due process.
  5. Most of the founders were federalists and abolitionists, believing in liberty and equal justice for all. The fact that The Constitution did not abolish slavery at the time was part of the great compromise that was necessary to get it ratified. When we finally did (thankfully) abolish slavery, it nearly destroyed The Union. At least we still had The Constitution.

The fact of the matter is that The Constitution was ratified, and for 224 years, it has helped to protect our right to live free, and keep what we earn. Regardless of how some would mischaracterize the founders and their motives, The Constitution is still the official specification for The United States government, and any regime that distorts or disregards the document that they took an oath to uphold and defend, is untrustworthy and dangerous.

2nd Amendment Rights Under Assault

Never miss the hidden innuendo used in all “media”.  Using words like “packing heat”and “activists”, is meant to stimulate the mind to envision darkness, thus they promote negative “feelings” on the subject that successfully promotes the underlying agenda.  It’s an old tactic of subliminal manipulation of society through dark images (both pictures and words) to express negative “feelings”, and bright, colorful images to express positive “feelings”.  It is the reader(s) and viewers (s) job to see through this form of manipulation and use their knowledge and reason to understand truth.

Gun control bill in Gov. Brown's hands

A measure to bar Californians from openly carrying weapons is supported by Sheriff Baca and LAPD Chief Beck, but opposed by 2nd Amendment activists who pack heat in coffee shops and restaurants.

Patrick McGreevy, Los Angeles Times ~ September 17, 2011

Reporting from Sacramento—

On Gov. Jerry Brown's desk is a bid to bar Californians from openly carrying firearms, legislation that could open a new front in the state's decades-old gun control debate.

The measure, aimed at an increasingly popular tactic used by 2nd Amendment activists, would make California the first state since 1987 to outlaw the controversial practice of publicly displaying a weapon.

The governor — a gun owner — has not taken an official position on the bill, passed by the Legislature last week. He has argued both sides of gun control issues in the past.

Existing law allows the open carrying of unloaded firearms. The measure before Brown would thwart activists who stage "open carry" demonstrations and want, ultimately, the right to legally display loaded guns. Such aficionados drew national attention last year when they walked into Starbucks outlets in the Bay Area and elsewhere, pistols holstered on their hips.

Participants in the open-carry movement, contending it is a way to show that normal people pack heat, take advantage of most states' relative silence about the practice. Only seven states, including Illinois and Texas, prohibit the open toting of guns, and most of their laws were adopted in the 1980s or decades earlier, according to the Legal Community Against Violence and other groups involved in the debate.

Gun control advocates hope that California will now pave the way for the rest of the country to outlaw the practice.

"Openly carrying a gun with [an ammunition] magazine in your back pocket into Starbucks and other establishments creates a culture of fear and intimidation,'' said Brian Malte, director for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. "It is irresponsible and dangerous.''

"People in other states look to see what California does,'' he said. If Brown signs the bill, "other states will follow suit.''

Open-carry proponents say that the practice is harmless and that California lawmakers are pursuing an agenda to disarm the public.

"There is no reason to do this other than a general dislike of gun rights," said John Pierce, a spokesman for OpenCarry.org, an online clearinghouse for the movement.

Canadian Oil Sands vs. Green Jobs

When journalists write about the fallacy of the Obama Administrations energy policies, but fail to connect the dots to “Sustainable Development” policies, I question their honesty or thoroughness in research of the subject.

The Canadian Oil Sands, just like the Bakken Shale Oil discovery, should’ve created a fabulous spike in industry and jobs for the North American economy and driven down the cost of energy, thus giving a boost to the global economy.  The only reason this is not occurring in the United States is our local/state/federal representatives have bought-in, hook, line and sinker, to Agenda 21 and the goals of “Sustainable Development”.

Sustainable Development is a Council, an Apex, a top down form of governance and is completely in-compatible with the United States Constitution.  Unless we have a complete change in the Executive and both sides of the House, in 2012, the United States will idle along at 9% or greater unemployment, have industry and manufacturing disappear as a viable portion of the U.S. Economy and lead the United States into 3rd World status for decades.  All of this is an integral part of Agenda 21 and “Sustainable Development”.  We the People must push this issue to the forefront of the political debate, because the ‘3’ E’s of Sustainable Development are almost complete:

Environment Regulation

Economic Reform

Equitable Re-distribution

Canada's Oil Sands Are a Jobs Gusher

  • By MARY ANASTASIA O'GRADY

Columnist's name

For all its soaring rhetoric, President Obama's "jobs speech" last week didn't demonstrate a lick of insight into why economies grow or how wealth is created. It was merely trademark Obamanomics: using government diktat to move money that's over here, over there.

Having spent an hour the day before with Ron Liepert, the energy minister from the Canadian province of Alberta, I found it especially disturbing to hear nothing in the speech about reversing the administration's anti-fossil-fuels agenda. Canada has recovered all the jobs it lost in the 2009 recession, and Alberta's oil sands are no small part of that. The province is on track to become the world's second-largest oil producer, after Saudi Arabia, within 10 years. Meanwhile Mr. Obama clings to his subsidies for solar panels and his religious faith in green jobs.

U.S. unemployment is high because capital is on strike. Short-term offers to coax investors into taking new risks aren't going to cut it when they have been forewarned that the president intends to pay for it all by raising taxes in the out years. The market dropped over 300 points the day after Mr. Obama's speech.

On the regulatory front the picture is even gloomier. Much of America's vast untapped energy potential lies dormant because Mr. Obama's regulatory watchdogs have spent the past three years throwing sand in the gears of the permitting process for exploration and exploitation on federal lands. Separately, TransCanada has been trying since September 2008 to get a permit to build the Keystone XL pipeline from Alberta to the Gulf Coast. The Environmental Protection Agency has so far blocked it.

TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline could mean 118,000 American jobs, if the U.S. government ever issues the permit.

A glimpse of what all this has cost the U.S. economy can be seen by looking north to Canada, where animal spirits have been unleashed in the energy sector. Canada's close economic ties to the U.S. have traditionally meant that when the U.S. gets the sniffles, Canada gets swine flu. This time it's been different. Part of the reason is that Canada's housing market was not poisoned by a federal government push to put unqualified borrowers into homes they could not afford. After the 2008 collapse of the housing bubble in the U.S., the Canadian financial sector remained strong.

“America’s Choice–Liberty or Sustainable Development”

There is a very worthwhile DVD set; “America’s Choice – Liberty or Sustainable Development”, published by experts on Agenda 21 and how it is has been, is and currently continues to  be implemented throughout the United States.  The first DVD is Michael Shaw.  DVD #1 is an excellent start to understand what Agenda 21 is and how to recognize in your community.  DVD #2 features Michael Coffman (creator of the Wildlands Project Map) who explains the economics of “Sustainable Development”, and Michael Chapman who explains how education has, is and will continue to be about re-wiring the youth to be global citizen’s and voluntarily give up their constitutional rights.  There is a 3rd DVD (which I haven’t watched yet) that I will be posting next week to complete the picture for those who want to educate themselves and be a force of political change in the upcoming years.
Please enjoy these ‘2’ DVD’s, share them with others and let me know if you believe that Agenda 21 is the cancer, not the human population as is implied by “Sustainabilist’s”
