Communitarianism is the new vision for Communism ~ for “You”

Found this article on the Whatcom Excavator and decided to put together a collage of items that show how this is not a hoax.  This is not a joke.  This is a plan which has been well thought out, well funded, global in scope and well on its way.

Obama’s EPA continues to over reach. Now they want control over your puddles and ditches!

File:Statueofliberty.JPGThere has been talk of neutering the EPA by many of the current GOP, Presidential Candidates.  History has shown us that any human entity, if given enough time and power, will always begin to meddle and abuse their power.  Whether it is from a lack of anything more purposeful to do, and a need to show others that they deserve the power that’s been given to them.  Or, from a truly sincere (albeit misplaced) desire to do good.  The EPA has been and continues to run roughshod over the Constitution and “everyone’s” rights of property as protected and upheld by the Supreme Court.

Currently the EPA is destroying the viable energy sources with their interpretation of “Global Warming” and Co2 emissions.  Now, they plan to do the same by re-interpreting what “bodies” of water the Federal government has the right(s) to regulate.

Truth is always scarier than fiction.  First they came for the control of your money, then they came for the control of your air, presently they are gaining control and locking up the land and shortly they will do the same to your water.  All of these elements are integral to the US Citizen’s “Rights of Property”.

Okay, I am saying it again! Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development, is stealing “the American Dream”.  Please, let’s clean house of these globalists who have corrupted the Constitution to the point that the Youth are being lied to in our Sus Devp (small)public schools and won’t even know what true freedom and liberty is.

Obama Administration and EPA Use Clean Water Act for New Overreach

Prepare To Have That Puddle in Your Back Yard Regulated.

Posted by Ben Howe (Diary)

Monday, November 21st at 5:00PM EST

Just as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has used the Clean Air Act to broaden the scope of their authority way beyond its original intention with rules like MACT and

CSAPR, the Clean Water Act is becoming a tool of overreach by the out of control agency.

Barack Obama and the EPA’s Lisa Jackson have made it clear through their actions that they will circumvent the legislature by using regulatory enforcement to enact Obama’s green dreams, and now it seems that circumvention includes the Supreme Court of the United States.

During the Bush presidency, a series of Supreme Court decisions acknowledged the limits of reach for the Clean Water Act. Most notably, the Supreme Court clarified that federal jurisdiction did not extend to wetlands and other “waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act.  Through the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook Country v. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (2001) and Raponos v. U.S. (2006) the Supreme Court established that private property rights still mattered even in light of the Clean Water Act and that the federal government did not have authority over them.

This of course isn’t stopping Barack Obama and Lisa Jackson from moving forward anyway.  Click here to read the full story.

“I’m not sorry we loaned Solyndra $535 bil dollars in tax payer money”

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, gave his first verbal comment on the government subsidized, stimulus funded, “green scam”, to the private company known as “Solyndra”.  I will not re-write POTUS’s words, I have merely pasted the words as they were printed in the LA Times.  The LA Times did not use the exact language that I heard on the radio from Obama’s own lips;  “I am not sorry for the loan to Solyndra!”  Excuse me?  You’re not sorry?  What an outrageous, narcissistic thing to say!  $535 billion dollars were loaned to a company that was not financially qualified to repay the loan. $535 billion dollars were loaned to a company who's financial P&L showed that it was more likely that they would go bankrupt by September of 2011, than they would be a financially viable success.  $535 billion dollars were flushed away$535 billion “taxpayer” dollars were wasted on a zero sum gain, that should have either never been spent or used to pay down the debt.  What kind of a tone-deaf, buffoon is serving as our Commander-in-Chief?

Sorry for the rant, but some things do require venting.Sus Devp (small)

Obama defends loan to Solyndra, calling it a 'good bet'

In a short but wide-ranging interview, the president spoke for the first time on the collapse of Solyndra, the solar start-up company that got a government-backed loan in 2009.
The question arose shortly after Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee released copies of internal emails in which senior administration officials warned against having Obama visit the company as its financial troubles piled up.
Obama said the loan guarantee program is working well overall, despite the fact that "not every single business is going to succeed."
If the U.S. wants to compete with other countries that are subsidizing "industries of the future," Obama said, the government has to make sure American companies "get a shot" to compete.

"Hindsight is always 20/20," Obama said. "It went through the regular review process and people felt this was a good bet."

ICLEI is not the United Nations, but it’s chartered through the UN

For those of you who are following the connection between ICLEI/LGS, Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development and your property rights, I am posting the latest update from Tom DeWeese, of the American Policy Center.Sus Devp (small)

NEW STRATEGIES IN THE FIGHT TO STOP AGENDA 21

Plantation, Florida has just voted to NOT renew its ICLEI contract. That’s the eighth community in eight months to take such action. Plantation joins the growing list that includes Carroll County, MD; Amador County, CA; Edmond, OK; Las Cruces, NM; Spartanburg, SC and Albemarle, VA.

This is wonderful, positive news, indicating that more and more elected officials are starting to hear our arguments against this wrenching transformation of our country. For the first time I’m getting calls and letters from elected officials asking for more information. I am getting invitations to appear on new radio shows that have never aired this issue before. In June, I was contacted by the Glenn Beck show as he prepared an entire program on Agenda 21. He even linked APC information to his blog. I’ve now been contacted by one leading presidential candidate, along with a possible major donor who is considering helping us fund the fight. In addition to all of that, daily I hear from an ever growing list of activists working in their communities to stop Agenda 21. A revolution is certainly under way across the country.

However, as we are gaining success, we are also beginning to face stiffer resistance from the proponents of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. More than ever we are hearing their charges of “conspiracy theories,” “fringe nuts,” and “extremism.” It’s to be expected. We are openly challenging them and they are feeling the heat. That means, as we move forward, it’s vitally important that anti-Agenda 21 activist be very careful with how they approach local government to express their opposition.

I’m finding that there is a bit of a misconception in regard to one of the main proponents of Agenda 21, and it is hurting our ability to make progress in the fight. It is vitally important that we all get the following facts right when launching our attacks against ICLEI. Please read carefully. The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) has been a main target by the anti-Agenda 21 forces. We targeted ICLEI because it has a clear United Nations connection, making it easier for us to make our case to elected officials about the UN connection to Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development policy. However, some have misunderstood the ICLEI role and have misrepresented who it is and what it does. The result, in some cases, is that our legitimate arguments have been be ignored and even laughed at. Click here to read the full story.

The Constitution vs. Democracy School Teachings of “Mob Rule”

Local Ferndale, WA citizen, Bellingham Tea Party President, Karl Uppiano has published a well stated analysis of what’s being taught at the local Democracy School instruction vs. the U.S. Constitution’s protections of the minorities from mob rule.  The main ingredient missing from today’s political activities, is their upholding of the protections given to the individual from the “collectivist”, the “community”, the “globalists”, the “Gaia obsession” to place Mother Earth on a religious pedestal and teach that no human has the right to de-grade her in any way!  Is it naiveté that drives the Democracy School agenda?  Or, is it about the continual push towards full implementation of Agenda 21 through the auspices of  “Sustainable Development”?

2011 National Constitution Week; by Karl Uppiano

On September 17, 1787, The Constitution of The United States was ratified. Saturday, September 17, 2011, on the 224th anniversary, kicks off National Constitution Week.

You might be interested to know that several of our local politicians attended a “Democracy School”, that teaches that The Constitution was a “usurpation” of the Articles of Confederation. To wit,

  1. The Mount Vernon Conference was convened to solve the problems encountered by the Potomac Company, and the Conference led to the Annapolis Convention, which sent a report to Congress urging for a broader meeting to be held in Philadelphia.
  2. Delegates to the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention were a select group representing property-owning white males, that the proceedings were secret and sentries were positioned at the doors, that Madison and Randolph presented the Virginia Plan on the first day, and that minutes of the Convention were not released for over 53 years.
  3. Most of the delegates viewed democracy as rule by the rabble, and called for the crafting of a Constitution that enabled a minority to govern, and which protected the property of the minority from majority governance.
  4. There were a group of people called the anti-federalists who understood what the delegates were attempting, and attempted to stop the ratification of the Constitution.
  5. The Constitution is an anti-majoritarian, slave document that established a minority-rule, slave state.

Please consider telling all of your elected representatives that we believe the un-revised history,

  1. The Articles of Confederation were weak, inhibiting the ability of the several states to cooperate, or even be recognized as a single nation by other countries, especially Great Britain. We were in danger of disintegration. The problems addressed by The Constitution were manifold, and they may have incidentally addressed or hindered various special interests.
  2. Property-owning white males is a modern construct used by statists to justify more centralized government, not a return to more diffuse states’ rights.
  3. The federalists believed that pure democracy suffers from “the tyranny of the majority”, in which minority rights would be overridden by the majority. They created a representative republic in an attempt to help protect minority rights.
  4. When The Constitution was being considered, there were federalists and anti-federalists. Political change always has opposition. As such, the tea parties oppose abandoning constitutional government, and certainly without due process.
  5. Most of the founders were federalists and abolitionists, believing in liberty and equal justice for all. The fact that The Constitution did not abolish slavery at the time was part of the great compromise that was necessary to get it ratified. When we finally did (thankfully) abolish slavery, it nearly destroyed The Union. At least we still had The Constitution.

The fact of the matter is that The Constitution was ratified, and for 224 years, it has helped to protect our right to live free, and keep what we earn. Regardless of how some would mischaracterize the founders and their motives, The Constitution is still the official specification for The United States government, and any regime that distorts or disregards the document that they took an oath to uphold and defend, is untrustworthy and dangerous.

The Right Thing or the Act of Tyrants?

On June 9, 2011, President Barack Obama passed by executive order the “White House Rural Council to Strengthen Rural Communities”.  This order gives access to federal money to pay NGO’s to go out into our rural communities and create zones of acceptance into this alliance which is directly tied to ICLEI (Bellingham/Whatcom County have already signed onto ICLEI, given grant money and written into our City and County Charters language that supports ICLEI) Solar Farmand Agenda 21.  Through grants that have federal strings attached they hope to gain acceptance of the “green zone” into the bread baskets of our nation“He who controls the food, controls the people!”, as quoted by Thomas Jefferson.  I can see the wind and solar farms dotting the nation of what once was the bread basket, soon to be a dead and barren zone.

Is this the right thing to do? Educate yourself and spread the word  to your friends, family and especially to the millions of rural farmers and property owners, that these warm and fuzzy “green zones” are similar in nature to the multitude of “neighborhood associations” that have sprung up in most urban areas.  The purpose of these associations is that you essentially give up a good portion of your property rights, with the promise that this will protect your neighborhood.  What it also does is it gives unelected people taxing authority over your property to cover their costs of writing up regulations which can/will impede your ability to do with your property what has been zoned legal for you to do.  These rural community councils are not elected, they are appointed by political leaders who have bought into the need to develop “green zones”.  As stated in the American Thinker article: October 28, 2009; UN Agenda 21 - Coming to a Neighborhood near You; By Scott Strzelczyk and Richard Rothschild, these types of actions make for strange bedfellows.  If you don’t already know how Agenda 21, ICLEI, LGS, Neighborhood Associations and now Rural Council’s plan to disrupt your rights as owners of private property, please click here and pay close attention to this video.

The video’s below cover the executive order signed by POTUS on June 9, 2011, Michelle Obama’s endorsement that POTUS is doing what he see’s as the long term goal of what’s right (energy prices will necessarily soar) for America, Van Jones kick-off campaign for President Obama’s slogan “Rebuild the Dream” (from the former Green Czar), and the head of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumpka, pledging 12 million Union Members to the “Rebuild the Dream” campaign.  Since Spain lost more jobs than they gained after they implemented their “green economy”, I find it hard to believe that today’s American Union members cant’ see the forest beyond the trees here.  What I mean by that is, Mr. Trumpka is selling bup-kiss to the Union membership with his pledge to endorse the “greening of the American economy”.

Please watch the videos and decide; “Is this is the “right’ thing for America?”

“Agenda 21” ~ Coming Soon to Your Neighborhood? No! It’s Already Here!

People ask how can a movement towards a “green economy” be a bad thing?  Well, all roads that I have read and experienced, in a “green economy” lead to overt regulation and the tyranny of personal liberty, freedom and property.  All American’s need to “guard against Communitarianism” (yes I plagiarized this from the video) and this video will help to clear the fog that Agenda 21, ICLEI and Communitarianism, brings to a “free” society.

Please enjoy this video and I ask that you share it with your friends and family too!

Is the Soros-Sponsored ‘Agenda 21’ a Hidden Plan for World Government?

This is another of those articles that must be posted in full.  Whatcom County and the City of Bellingham are fully on board with ICLEI and Agenda 21.  If, after you’ve read, watched an listened to all of the material provided in this post, you feel passionately for or against this movement, be sure to check out my previous post.  This election please be sure to ask each of the local Bellingham/Whatcom County candidates where they stand on Agenda 21, ICLEI and Transition Whatcom.

What is Agenda 21? If you do not know about it, you should.
Agenda 21 is a two-decade old, grand plan for global ’Sustainable Development,’ brought to you from the United Nations. George H.W. Bush (and 177 other world leaders) agreed to it back in 1992, and in 1995, Bill Clinton signed Executive Order #12858, creating a Presidential Council on ‘Sustainable Development.’ This effectively pushed the UN plan into America’s large, churning government machine without the need for any review or discussion by Congress or the American people.
‘Sustainable Development’ sounds like a nice idea, right? It sounds nice, until you scratch the surface and find that Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development are really cloaked plans to impose the tenets of Social Justice/Socialism on the world.
At risk from Agenda 21;
Private Property ownership
Single-Family homes
Private car ownership and individual travel choices
Privately owned farms

The Agenda 21 plan openly targets private property. For over thirty-five years the UN has made their stance very clear on the issue of individuals owning land;

Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.
Source: United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat I),Vancouver, BC, May 31 – June 11, 1976. Preamble to Agenda Item 10 of the Conference Report.

There are two more, very good reasons to be wary of Agenda 21 and the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) that supports it: George Soros and the United Nations. Soros money has been tracked to funding parts of ICLEI;
In 1997, George Soros’s Open Society gave ICLEI a $2,147,415 grant to support its Local Agenda 21 Project
As regards the UN, that organization‘s problems with America’s appreciation of freedom and self-determination is one that needs no explanation.
Currently in California, Agenda 21 is working to implement plans to create plans for sustainable management of ‘open spaces.‘ The definition of what is to be considered an ’open space’ has sparked some heated exchanges between those directing the planning meetings and citizens who want private property rights to be respected and protected. (The East Bay Tea Party video featuring a Liberal Democrat arguing against ICLEI can be seen at the end of this article.)
This type of global plan could not be implemented without a large and well-funded group pushing through its priorities. For that, Agenda 21 has the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). And ICLEI is deeply entrenched in America;

ICLEI USA was launched in 1995 and has grown from a handful of local governments participating in a pilot project to a solid network of more than 600 cities, towns and counties actively striving to achieve tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and create more sustainable communities. ICLEI USA is the domestic leader on climate protection and adaptation, and sustainable development at the local government level.

Over six hundred cities, towns and counties in America are members of ICLEI? Do you support your local government agreeing to rules and regulations set up by a UN-based organization that wants private property transferred to government control? If you would like to see if your community is a member of ICLEI, you can visit their website.
Austin, Texas is one city that seems to have fallen for the ICLEI/Agenda 21 and was heavily consuming the ‘Communitariasm’ Kool-aid. A local group called Texans For Accountable Government saw what was happening and attempted to stop the Austin City Council from adopting some Agenda 21-friendly initiatives. One of TAG’s members, John Bush, delivered a succinct presentation on ICLEI and Agenda 21 that was virtually ignored. Watch his short argument against the proposed local law immediately followed by the lopsided vote adopting the plan.

In the world of business Agenda 21 is not a free market friend, preferring PPPs or Private Public Partnerships where the government decides which companies will receive tax breaks and are allowed to stay in business. In light of this realization, the cozy relationship between the current administration and GE (a company that paid no tax in 2010) should raise eyebrows. And the WH efforts to tell Boeing in which state they can operate seems to further bolster the belief that Agenda 21 ideals are already making headway in America.
The seeds for Agenda 21 were planted back in 1987 when the writings of Gro Harlem Brundtland (a woman who at the time was Vice President of the World Socialist Party) caught the eye of the UN. Dr. Brundtland wrote a report for the UN called, ‘Our Common Future’ eventually got into the business of environmentalism as a tool to control all the people of the world and establish a global government. The growth of ICLEI and the framework being put in place by supporters of Agenda 21 appear to be bringing Dr. Brundtland’s ideas closer to reality
In recent months, citizen groups across the country have organized and become involved in the removal of towns and cities from membership in ICLEI. The Roanoke, VA Tea Party is holding a rally this week in an effort to have ICLEI removed from their local government.
For a better understanding of Agenda 21 and ICLEI we suggest: The American Policy Center offers a one-page primer on Agenda 21.
From the Bay Area Tea Party we offer a long-form video covering Agenda 21;

The featured speaker at the Tea Party meeting, Rosa Koire, is a liberal Democrat who understands that Agenda 21 will destroy America as we know it. Rosa’s website, DemocratsAgainstAgenda21.com is also worth a visit.

Karl Uppiano’s; “Long Train to China”

For the past year or more I have had a link to Karl Uppiano’s blog, “Rage Against the Kakistocracy”.  Karl’s latest blog has hit a nerve in me and I decided to take it to the top of my fold.  Please enjoy Karl’s rage of ‘common sense’, especially as it has immediate relevance to the recent Whatcom County, ‘Progressive’ members call to alarm against the approval of a deep shipping port for coal shipment at Cherry Point.

The members of Futurewise, Re-Sources for a Sustainable Community, and Sustainable Connections, work in tandem and collude to keep Whatcom County as their Kingdom.  Their goal is to rule the serfs and tell us how to live our lives sustainably.

Fear not Whatcom County!  These non-profit organizations have had their eyes on controlling us completely for a long time.  These non-profits use our tax dollars to  work against us.  Once they’ve gained control of; the Bellingham City Council (oops!, they already do control the BCC), Ferndale, Lynden, Blaine, Everson, Custer, Glacier, Kendall, Sumas, Acme, Concrete, (have I missed any?) and all of Whatcom County, through the election process, it shall be a fate accompli!

So, if I have not been clear enough, it’s time to wake-up, get-up and fight to keep your liberty and freedom through the retention of your private citizen’s and property rights.  Their goal is to lock-up and control all private property rights through International treaty recognition and usurpation of your Constitution at the same time.  It is your job to become informed and active to guard against and reclaim those rights!

Enjoy Karl’s rage and let me know what you think.

Long Train Running to China Grove

About a year ago, my employer relocated to a new office building. Many of my co-workers have a spectacular view of Bellingham Bay, or the city lights. But being a railroad buff, I chose an office overlooking the main line through Bellingham just across the street. Out my office window, I see passenger trains, freight trains, miscellaneous track maintenance trains and other interesting vehicles.
But the most impressive trains are the coal trains. They usually have five of the largest locomotives, two on one end and three on the other, bracketing about a mile of identical hopper cars, each one heaped to the brim with coal. About five or six of these trains a day (while I'm in the office) head north, fully loaded, and five or six head south, empty. Every day. There may be more while I'm not watching.
I always wondered where that coal was coming from, and where it was going. Intalco? It takes a lot of electricity to smelt aluminum. No, that coal comes from Colorado, is shipped by rail to the lower mainland of British Columbia, where it is loaded onto ships and hauled to China!
Because coal is deemed too "polluting" to be burned in the USA, we use countless gallons of precious liquid petroleum to ship it to China to be burned! I wonder how much coal would be left if they used the energy in the coal itself to haul it to China? This is sheer idiocy! To prevent pollution, we create more pollution to ship it somewhere else to be burned anyway. Doh!
If freedom still rang in this country, we would burn the coal on site, or at least near where it is mined (to generate electricity, or liquefy it for mobile applications). Somehow, we have to get the environmental extremists off our backs and restore some sanity. Our current energy policy is worse than no energy policy.

New Soros investment fund, profiting off Obama's 'green energy' push, hires top Obama energy aide

The City Council of Bell, California was removed from office and arrested.  So who’s looking after the National Treasure?  Is this, or is it not racketeering of a Federal level?  The wheels of the wagon go round and round, round and round, round and round.  The wheels of the wagon go round and round, all day long! BELTWAY CONFIDENTIAL

Politics from the Nation's Capital

By: Timothy P. Carney 02/24/11 3:47 PM
Senior Political Columnist

George Soros -- whom we're always told is not serving his own economic interests at all by promoting liberal politicians and big-government policies -- is launching a new investment fund that plans to profit off of the "green energy" boom, which is entirely dependent on government subsidies supported by the groups Soros funds.

As the press release puts it, this fund will "leverage technology and business model innovation to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste and emissions, harness renewable energy, and more efficiently use natural resources, among other applications." As Soros puts it in the same release: “Developing alternative sources of energy and achieving greater energy efficiency is both a significant global investment opportunity and an environmental imperative.” Cadie Thompson at CNBC's NetNet flagged this.

So, yeah. The big-government policies advanced by the liberal outfits he funds -- like Center for American Progress -- will enrich the companies in which Soros is investing.

But this story gets better.

The press release casually mentions whom Soros is hiring to run this new fund: Cathy Zoi. As Cadie Thompson at CNBC's NetNet (edited by my brother John Carney), puts it,

Zoi was Barack Obama's "Acting Under Secretary for Energy and Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy." An Al Gore acolyte, Zoi was Obama's point-woman on subsidizing green tech. Now she's going to work for George Soros to profit off of subsidized green tech.

If you remember Zoi's name, it's because of another green-tech conflict of interest: Zoi's husband is an executive at a window company, Serious Windows, which the White House regularly held up as a "poster child of green industry."

The Freedom Foundation of Minnesota put it this way:

"Ms. Zoi is married to Robin Roy, a top executive at Serious Materials, a privately held manufacturer of 'sustainable green building materials' located in California. On the Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure submitted by Ms. Zoi to the White House Ethics office as part of her confirmation, Ms. Zoi disclosed ownership with her spouse of 120,000 vested and unvested stock options in Serious Materials, a company her office regulates and that she may profit from."

Oh yeah, Serious Materials pocketed federal stimulus money, too.

But as NetNet's Thompson puts it:

But we can put all that behind us, because now Zoi has left the Obama Administration and will go back to work making an honest living in the private sector, where she can put all the knowledge she gained from working for the Department of Energy to work for the private equity firms. Thata girl Zoi!
