The Speech that Rocked Virginia

E.W. Jackson is running for Lt. Governor in the State of Virginia.  Most Lt. Governor races are fairly blasé due to the fact that the Lt. Governor’s role is a fairly limited one with regards to policy and legislation to a State. But, if the fire in this politician’s belly resonates, as the fire-in-the-belly of politicians like Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Lee and our own Rep. Jason Overstreet; America does have hope to regain her stature as “the shining light upon the hill.”

LET FREEDOM RING!

Should the Tea Party accept the IRS’s apology?

The Country appears to be going through another change.  What is that change?  It’s a monumental change where people who espouse fiscal sanity, constitutional ethics, transparency in government, principled politicians and honest treatment of all US Citizens are targets of their own government.  The recent revelation that the IRS was targeting any group that showed any affiliation with Tea Party principles for “closer scrutiny” by the federal taxing authority of the United States of America has been exposed and admitted to.

Should the “Tea Party,” who ever they are, accept their apology?

Updates on the Saudi National–Held after Boston Bombing–Gone but not Forgotten–The People Demand Answers for their Safety!

It’s time to put out a series of updates I have been following through the Blaze TV.
There are a lot of questions that need to be answered for the sake of public safety of all U.S. citizens.  If the main stream media will not do their job and the story from the Obama’s Executive Administration keeps changing, then we have to keep up the pressure to get real answers.  We deserve it and I guess we’ll only get what we deserve if we demand it.
Contact your U.S. Congress and demand that they get to the bottom of this matter.  Why was this Saudi National given a 212, 3B file?  How was it removed?  Was it removed?  Where is Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi National?  Are we truly safe in America if we don’t know the truth about all of these questions?

Recent video of Glen Beck reporting on The Blaze:
Image of the Department of Homeland Security declaring that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi National arrested after the Boston Bombing, has been given a 212, 3B rating:Can a 212 3 (B) File Be Changed? Experts Weigh In on Saudi Nationals Status

The latest headlines at The Blaze on this issue:

CAN A 212, 3B FILE BE CHANGED? EXPERTS WEIGH IN ON SAUDI NATIONAL’S STATUS

Apr. 24, 2013 8:19pm Tiffany Gabbay
The Blaze has been extensively covering the strange details surrounding Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national who was once considered a person of interest in the Boston Marathon attacks. On his Wednesday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck explored Alharbi’s immigration status as well as provided viewers with another look at the event file he said was created on the Saudi student.
Earlier on Wednesday, Erica Ritz provided a timeline of the events surrounding the Saudi national as follows: (Click here to read the full article)

Photos of a visit Michelle Obama is alleged to have had with Abdul Rahman Alharbi — the Saudi national previously considered to be “person of interest,” “armed and dangerous,” and worthy of inclusion on a watch list — may have appeared on a Facebook page associated with an English language school in Boston or students who share a common bond of going to English schools in the area. ‘ARMED AND DANGEROUS’: BECK’S LATEST REVELATIONS ON SAUDI NATIONAL ONCE A ‘PERSON OF INTEREST’ IN BOSTON BOMBINGS

Apr. 24, 2013 11:04am Erica Ritz
For the past week, Glenn Beck has been investigating a Saudi national once identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing.  The story has taken a number of alarming twists and turns, but on his radio program Wednesday, Beck released some of the most interesting information yet.
But first, here are a few background points on how the case developed:
  • A Saudi national originally identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing was set to be deported under section 212, 3B — “Security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” after the bombing on April 15
  • TheBlaze received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national — identified as Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi — as the story gained traction on April 18.
  • Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer questions on the subject by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Capitol Hill on April 18, saying the inquiry was “so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it’s just not worthy of an answer.”

Score “One” for the Constitution v. Executive Office Abusers

Some of the best news I’ve read in a long time.  There is still some sanity in our courts and an understanding that the U.S. Constitution set-up a separation of powers intentionally to protect you and I from government tyranny.

The Landmark Legal Foundation (aka Mark Levin) has done our Country a great service by forcing this issue into the courts and setting the precedent that Presidents and their Executive Branch must follow the laws of the Constitution.

Enjoy the article and don’t forget to send your thanks to the Landmark Legal Foundation for taking this issue to court.

Obama recess appointments unconstitutional

In a case freighted with major constitutional implications, a federal appeals court on Friday overturned President Obama’s controversial recess appointments from last year, ruling he abused his powers and acted when the Senate was not actually in a recess.

The three-judge panel’s ruling is a major blow to Mr. Obama. The judges ruled that the appointments he made to the National Labor Relations Board are illegal, and hence the five-person board did not have a quorum to operate.

But the ruling has even broader constitutional significance, with the judges arguing that the president’s recess appointment powers don’t apply to “intra-session” appointments — those made when Congress has left town for a few days or weeks. They said Mr. Obama erred when he said he could claim the power to determine when he could make appointments.

“Allowing the president to define the scope of his own appointments power would eviscerate the Constitution’s separation of powers,” the judges said in their opinion.

The judges said presidents’ recess powers only apply after Congress has adjourned a session permanently, which in modern times usually means only at the end of a year. If the ruling withstands Supreme Court scrutiny, it would dramatically constrain presidents in the future

  • Of course the NLRB feels very confident that President Obama’s appointments will be upheld; so why adhere to a pesky verdict from an insignificant decision that goes against them?  They have important work to do and until someone forcibly stops them, they’re going to continue on as if nothing has changed.  Wonder if AG Holder’s office will step-in and uphold the federal courts ruling?

Obama’s Union-Controlled NLRB Thumbs Nose At Court Ruling, Chairman Vows To March Onward

    NLRB picketing

Following Friday morning’s appeals court ruling that Barack Obama’s “recess” appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were unconstitutional, union attorney (and current NLRB chairman) Mark Gaston Pearce vowed to ignore the court’s ruling.

In a statement posted on the NLRB’s website, Pearce stated:

“The Board respectfully disagrees with today’s decision and believes that the President’s position in the matter will ultimately be upheld. It should be noted that this order applies to only one specific case, Noel Canning, and that similar questions have been raised in more than a dozen cases pending in other courts of appeals.

OBAMA signs renewal of Foreign Surveillance Law

Isn’t he a peach!  The most transparent administration has gone black to avoid the limelight of his (and Congress’ s) traitorous actions.  Not to mention they reauthorized the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), without any partisan complications.

OBAMA SIGNS RENEWAL OF FOREIGN SURVEILLANCE LAW

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama has signed into law a five-year extension of the U.S. government's authority to monitor the overseas activity of suspected foreign spies and terrorists.

The warrantless intercept program would have expired at the end of 2012 without the president's approval. The renewal bill won final passage in the Senate on Friday.

Known as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the law allows the government to monitor overseas phone calls and emails without obtaining a court order for each intercept.

The law does not apply to Americans. When Americans are targeted for surveillance, the government must get a warrant from a special 11-judge court of U.S. district judges appointed by the Supreme Court. Click here to read the full story.

NDAA Indefinite Detention Bill Passes Senate After Rand Paul Calls It An 'Abomination'

The Senate passed a version of the National Defense Authorization Act that was stripped of a prohibition of the indefinite military detention of US citizens on American soil by an 81-14 vote on Friday, but only after a furious dissent on the chamber's floor by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who called it an "abomination."

The National Defense Authorization Act of 2013 will now head to the White House, which had earlier pledged to veto the NDAA because it prevents the president from closing the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. It is unclear whether the president will follow through on the threat.  Click here to read the full story.

Say “Hello”…Big Brother is listening and storing your private emails!

From Russia Today (RT) comes a startling video about a U.S. program called Naris which is capturing and storing all emails, of all U.S. citizen's.  There is a lot of data to be stored and is being stored all over the country.  In fact, they are building a huge facility to store all of this data, without a legal warrant or credible reason to violate the privacy of private citizens.

With all of the shenanigans and downright criminal activity going on right in front of us, why does our government need to capture our words in this manner?

'Everyone in US under virtual surveillance' - NSA whistleblower

    Published: 04 December, 2012, 18:01

The FBI has the e-mails of nearly all US citizens, including congressional members, according to NSA whistleblower William Binney. Speaking to RT he warned that the government can use information against anyone it wants.

One of the best mathematicians and code breakers in NSA history resigned in 2001 because he no longer wanted to be associated with alleged violations of the constitution.

He asserts, that the FBI has access to this data due to a powerful device Naris.

This year Binney received the Callaway award. The annual award was established to recognize those, who stand out for constitutional rights and American values at great risk to their personal or professional lives.

RT: In light of the Petraeus/Allen scandal while the public is so focused on the details of their family drama one may argue that the real scandal in this whole story is the power, the reach of the surveillance state. I mean if we take General Allen – thousands of his personal e-mails have been sifted through private correspondence. It’s not like any of those men was planning an attack on America. Does the scandal prove the notion that there is no such thing as privacy in a surveillance state?

William Binney: Yes, that’s what I’ve been basically saying for quite some time, is that the FBI has access to the data collected, which is basically the e-mails of virtually everybody in the country. And the FBI has access to it. All the congressional members are on the surveillance too, no one is excluded. They are all included. So, yes, this can happen to anyone. If they become a target for whatever reason – they are targeted by the government, the government can go in, or the FBI, or other agencies of the government, they can go into their database, pull all that data collected on them over the years, and we analyze it all. So, we have to actively analyze everything they’ve done for the last 10 years at least.

RT: Tell me about the most outrageous thing that you came across during your work at the NSA.

WB: The violations of the constitution and any number of laws that existed at the time. That was the part that I could not be associated with. That’s why I left. They were building social networks on who is communicating and with whom inside this country. So that the entire social network of everybody, of every US citizen was being compiled overtime. So, they are taking from one company alone roughly 320 million records a day. That’s probably accumulated probably close to 20 trillion over the years. The original program that we put together to handle this to be able to identify terrorists anywhere in the world and alert anyone that they were in jeopardy. We would have been able to do that by encrypting everybody’s communications except those, who were targets. So, in essence you would protect their identities and the information about them until you could develop probable cause, and once you showed your probable cause, then you could do a decrypt and target them. And we could do that and isolate those people all alone. It wasn’t a problem at all. There was no difficulty in that.

Some more wise words from another private citizen with enough courage to ask the tough questions…

Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report

“The economy would need to be growing at breakneck speed for unemployment to drop to 7.8% from 8.3% in the course of two months.”

    By JACK WELCH

Imagine a country where challenging the ruling authorities—questioning, say, a piece of data released by central headquarters—would result in mobs of administration sympathizers claiming you should feel "embarrassed" and labeling you a fool, or worse.

Soviet Russia perhaps? Communist China? Nope, that would be the United States right now, when a person (like me, for instance) suggests that a certain government datum (like the September unemployment rate of 7.8%) doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately for those who would like me to pipe down, the 7.8% unemployment figure released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) last week is downright implausible. And that's why I made a stink about it. (Read the full story here)

BECK & GEN. BOYKIN EXPLORE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD‘S GRIP ON AMERICA IN UPCOMING ’RUMORS OF WAR III’ DOCUMENTARY

On Wednesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. ET, GBTV will air a powerful documentary entitled “Rumors of War III,” which delves into the infiltration of America’s government by militant Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood. The special promises to provide “irrefutable evidence of the attack underway being perpetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah.”
Providing a preliminary look into the investigation, General William Boykin — who appears in the documentary — joined Glenn Beck on his Tuesday morning radio broadcast to discuss some little known facts about the role U.S. lawmakers have played in helping the Muslim Brotherhood gain entry into American politics and government institutions.
Gen. Boykin, a founding member of Delta Force, told Beck that Islamist groups have been gaining access to American lawmakers for years, starting under the Clinton administration. The problem, according to the general, has only been “enhanced” by the Obama administration.
Among the nation’s Muslim Brotherhood enablers, according to Gen. Boykin, is Americans for Tax Reform founder, Grover Norquist, who he said brought Suheil Khan — the son of a radical cleric — under his wing and frequently liaised with other Muslim groups here in the U.S., even to the exclusion of attending conservative events. It is is only now, the general pointed out, that Congress is starting to recognize Norquist’s “checkered background.”
Beck noted that perhaps the best observation shared by Gen. Boykin was when he asked how on earth could the Muslim Brotherhood be “secular” given that its very name reveals its religious and ideological affiliation. The name “Muslim Brotherhood” should “give you someclue,” the general quipped.

Soros Quote of the Century: “A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.”

There’s so much going on and so little time to put personal comment to it, that for the sake of expediency I need to just get some of these posts out there for you to read and share among your family and friends.

Soros: ‘A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.’

April 24, 2012 OpEd   By Bill Wilson

Speaking in Denmark on April 16 with that country’s economics minister at an event hosted by the Politiken newspaper, billionaire investor George Soros took aim at austerity measures in Europe, saying they were only making things worse as countries there attempt to control the sovereign debt crisis.

“You can grow out of excessive debt, you cannot shrink out of excessive debts,” Soros said, blasting balanced budget policies as the culprit behind slowing economic growth. In a Financial Times piece, he called European Union-imposed austerity measures “counterproductive”.

The irony is Europe is already in a recession that was brought on not by balanced budgets or fiscal responsibility, but by too much government debt.george-soros

In Greece, for example, this came in the form of excessive public pension and health care obligations. In Ireland, it took the form of guaranteeing the losses of failed banks as the country’s housing bubble popped.

Soros’ comments came after a far more revealing speech in Berlin on April 13 where he really got to the heart of the matter. There, he spoke on a panel entitled “The Future of Europe” at the Institute for New Economic Thinking’s (INET) Paradigm Lost Conference.

There he compared European debtors like Greece and Ireland to “third world countries that have become heavily indebted in a foreign currency”.

Soros explained, “This happened because they transferred their seigniorage rights to the ECB [European Central Bank]. That’s why they can’t print their own money. And because they can’t print their own money, there is a real danger that they would default.”

That’s a rather honest accounting of the current crisis from Soros. Under this analysis, the only thing that apparently separates Europe from the U.S. (or Japanese) debt crises is that we possess far more efficient printing presses in the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan as compared to the ECB.

Soros crystallized this seeming reality: “A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.”

Of course, according to Standard & Poor’s there were about 84 sovereign defaults in fiat currencies between 1975 and 2002, as reported recently by San Jose University associate professor Jeffrey Rogers Hummel. So default is actually a real possibility, even with a fiat currency. But let’s leave that aside for a moment.

Florida Senator “Allen West” shines as a Constitutional Literate

Please take the time to listen, comprehend, enjoy and (I ask you to) share this video.  Senator West was a guest on the “Glenn Beck” radio program last week.  After Senator West’s public speech where he verbally addresses the number of outright “communists” that have been elected to federal office.

The “Progressive Caucus” is made up of members who are elected to be representatives of the people, and who take an oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.  The Progressive Caucus continually, blatantly work to subvert the contract of “We the People”, that guards against communitarianism and government tyranny. The first order of business before any newly elected official takes office is their oath of office, which is to stand-up for “individual” liberty, prosperity, freedom and opportunity.

Your Free Speech Has Been Abridged!

Last Thursday (March 9, 2012), the President signed a bi-partisan bill HR347, giving the federal government the ability to make it a felony to violate “No-Free Speech Zones”.  This bill will allow them to make “No-Free Speech Zones”!  Has this occurred because Washington D.C. is expecting a lot of push back in 2012 for the actions that they have taken to disregard their pledge to protect and defend the Constitution by the vocal Tea Party groups, who protested peacefully and left the protest areas cleaner than they found it?  Or, is it because they fear the public display’s coming from the “Occupiers”?  The President and many of the members of the House and Senate, publicly supported the Occupiers demands?  Why would they try to shut us out?

If you have an opinion, I would be happy to post it here, but please contact your local representatives and local media to spread word on how they have silently abridged your 1st Amendment rights!

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Time to contact your federal/state/local representatives to express your opinions on this unfortunate, anti-Constitutional bill.

Will the “Tea Party” play “Moneyball” with the GOP?

The 2010 elections were, without a doubt, a loud message sent to both the GOP and DNC that the average voter has had it with out of control, unconstitutional growth and spending in government.

The 2011 elections were more about seeding local elections with true constitutionalists, committed to restoring the foundations of our Country by working within the confines of the Constitution.  After all, we are a nation of laws?  Aren’t we?

The Tea Party goal is in the long game, to place Tea Party idealists into local and state offices, effect change and gain experience for the long haul.  With a little time, a lot of hard work and demonstrable actions, these tactics will turn around the image of the GOP and draw voters in droves to “morality and ethics” in politics, something that has been lacking in U.S. politics for too long.

While other political groups race for the bottom, the Tea Party works to race to the top.  Not because they strive for money and power.  Tea Party idealists goal is to restore liberty, freedom, and personal responsibility to it’s rightful place.  At the same time they will work to reduce the size and cost of government by reintroducing the private sector as the go-to source for John Q Public’s needs, thus restoring the free markets to their natural state. These goals (and more) have been finely communicated in the posted article below.

    Enjoy the ride…YiT,  Shelly

Political Moneyball: The Conservative Strategy for Winning the Fight Coming After the Election

    by Kurt Schlichter

The GOP Establishment we keep hearing about is real, and it is also doomed.

That will not change whether the Establishment’s candidate Mitt Romney wins in November or not.  After the election, the battle really starts; what is happening now are just skirmishes in a fight for control of the Republican Party.  Not the soul of the party – if it had one, it auctioned it off long ago – but the mechanism of the party.  The Grand Old Party matters only as a vehicle to carry our banner forward.

To do that, we need to seize control, and we do that by destroying the Establishment starting next November 7th.

Superficially, it might seem that we – the outsiders, the Tea Party, the conservatives, whatever the label – are outgunned by opponents with their hands on the reins of power, money in amounts we can’t hope to match, and pals in the media backing them.  But if we understand our strengths, and our opponents’ weaknesses, we can not only compete but eventually prevail.

    First, let’s understand our opponent.

The GOP Establishment is an amorphous entity composed of politicians, media types, consultants, writers, lobbyists, party hacks and donors whose first priority is protecting their positions and privileges.  Power, and holding onto it, is more important than ideology.  That’s where we conservatives differ – we have no formal power or position, so changing the power structure doesn’t scare us.  We have nothing to lose; the GOP Establishment has everything to lose.

So, how do we beat it?

The Oscar-nominated film Moneyball tells the story of the Oakland A’s of the early 2000’s and how it had to adapt to compete with clubs like the Yankees with payrolls four times its size.  Under manager Billy Beane, the club reassessed what it thought it knew about baseball, gained a clear understanding of what made a team successful, and then focused ruthlessly on the long game to build a winning team.

What is the key to winning?  In baseball, it is runs – you get enough runs over the course of a year, you tend to be a winning team.  That’s the long game; the short game is the game tomorrow afternoon.  It’s nice to win that fight too, but the secret of moneyball is building success over time by playing the numbers.  Click here to read the full article.

Is there a “global” Caliphate on the horizon?

Wednesday, February 1, 2012, Glenn Beck had an absolutely amazing segment.  Glenn’s guests were all retired U.S. Military, including the West Point shunned, General Boykin.  General Boykin’s speaking engagement at West Point became an issue for CAIR, a veterans group and others.  General Boykin tends to speak his mind about what has and is happening here in the United States and around the globe, with regards to “the Muslim Brotherhood” and other similar groups.

    Saving the American Dream

There is an old saying that needs to be impressed upon Politicians and the American Public; “There’s no time better than the present”.  What does that mean?  That means, stop making excuses, stop procrastinating, stop telling yourself and others I’ll get it done” and get started on fixing what’s wrong, “now”!

So in honor of that statement I am asking that you spend more time working with organizations that actually do things to “fix” things now, and spend less time complaining about it all.  It’s fun to complain and I do encourage you to speak out, do not stay silent!  But, do spend more time working with and attending events with groups that actually want to “fix” things.

The Heritage Group is one of those organizations (and yes they will ask you for donations now and then…remember that nothing is free) and they are launching a new networking operation to put names and locations together, of people who want to “Save the American Dream” in America.

Do the Party Elites Want to Choose for “We the People”?

With all of the ebb and flow of the potential Republican Candidates, the unbelievable media acquiescence to bludgeon with innuendos and journalism ethics that have not been seen in my lifetime, it leaves me to wonder out load…What the heck is going on?

Well today I read a posting from a blog that is clearing my head, because life has and always does come full circle.  Life repeats itself.  So enjoy this posting and I trust it will help to clear your head as it has helped to clear mine.

This is not an endorsement of any candidate…just a history lesson that keeps repeating itself.  It is a lesson that “We the People” know who we want, deep down inside we know, and we must not allow the media, the party elites, or the unseen forces that pull our strings to elect the “acceptable” candidate.  “We the People” must vote for the principled Candidate who will restore honor, integrity and the moral principles of a free and liberal United States Constitution as the foundation of a great Country!

MR. CODEVILLA HAS GRACIOUSLY GIVEN ME PERMISSION TO POST AND CIRCULATE A PERSONAL LETTER HE RECENTLY WROTE ….RSK

Is there a Republican Establishment that differs from and is antagonistic to people who vote Republican?

Whether such a thing existed before, say, 1950, is problematic. But since about that time it has manifested itself undeniably. Consider:

Beginning circa 1940, Robert Taft of Ohio rebuilt the Republican Party’s credit with the American people. He spoke of smaller government at home and the pursuit of the national interest abroad- including opposition equally to Communists and Nazis. Wars were for winning. But the Party’s machinery and money were in New York. J. D. Rockefeller, Wendell Wilkie, John Foster Dulles, and Thomas Dewey, supported heavily by old money, were Progressives in the mold of Herbert Hoover and Woodrow Wilson. They believed that they could bring the world together onto the path of progress and improve America by tweaking FDR’s New Deal. Wilkie and Dewey lost. By 1952 the party was almost unanimously for Taft. But the Republican Progressives bought and stole delegates to the ’52 convention, especially in the South where delegates had no voters who could hold them accountable. When that did not work, they used the Credentials committee to exclude the elected Texas delegation and replaced it with one formed by them. Dwight Eisenhower was a great man. But he was foisted on the party – not picked by it.

Are you part of the solution…or part the problem?

FreedomWorks.com is a leader in bringing people who support the goals; to stop deficit spending and to the restoration of “States” rights, as designated in the U.S. Constitution.  How can we realize these goals?

Tea Parties across the nation value their independence and resist centralized power at all costs.  This philosophy may cause their message to be diluted, if the message is not focused and easily understood for the nation.  FreedomWorks.com is a tool to reach out to anyone who believes that solutions to the U.S. economy can only be realized when politics represents the People, and returns to the People the rights which the U.S. Constitution guarantees to them.

The following post is from FreedomWorks.com and asks everyone who wishes to participate in finding a solution to the U.S. deficit read the Tea Party Commission budget.  If you find (as I have) that this is a viable solution to the $15 trillion (plus) deficit now encumbering the U.S. economy, then please join FreedomWorks.com to grow in numbers and urge Congress to bring this budget plan to the floor of Congress and be heard.  The Tea Party Coalition has developed a budget which reduces the deficit by $9.7 trillion over 10 years, with the bulk of that reduction happening in the first two years.  It is a bold plan that will take a huge effort on our part to push out into the public forum.

Will you be part of the solution?  Your Country needs problem solvers, not more whining!
