Are B.O.’s Administration Policies beginning to Stink Up America?

I found this article at techdirt.com to be an interesting aside to all of the false hysteria President Obama preached about at his public speech yesterday.

Pass the Right Guard, cause it’s going to be a long, sweaty hot summer for B.O.

Obama Promise To 'Protect Whistleblowers' Just Disappeared From Change.gov

from the not-the-change-we-were-looking-for dept

The folks from the Sunlight Foundation have noticed that the Change.gov website, which was set up by the Obama transition team after the election in 2008 has suddenly been scrubbed of all of its original content. They noted that the front page had pointed to the White House website for a while, but you could still access a variety of old material and agendas. They were wondering why the administration would suddenly pull all that interesting archival information... and hit upon a clue. A little bit from the "ethics agenda":

Protect Whistleblowers: Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in government is an existing government employee committed to public integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should be encouraged rather than stifled. We need to empower federal employees as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure that federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistleblower claims and whistleblowers have full access to courts and due process.
Yeah. That statement seems a bit embarrassing at the very same time Obama's administration is threatening trade sanctions against anyone who grants asylum to Ed Snowden. Also... at the same time that we get to see how whistleblower Bradley Manning's "full access to courts and due process" will turn out. So far, it's been anything but reasonable, considering that the UN has already condemned Manning's treatment as "cruel and inhuman." And people wonder why Snowden left the country...

Welcome to America–How May We Spy on You?

It has truly become disturbing that “We the People,” the citizens of America are not demanding that unwarranted searches and privacy violations, must be stopped immediately.    The Federal Governments actions to inventory the private citizen’s of this Country is an appalling fact that this nation will regret and our children, or grandchildren and ever-after they will ask us; “Why did everyone do nothing to stop this?”  Of course, since they’ve never truly experienced the type of freedom I had in my youth, they’ll never know what was stolen from them.

If we do not protect all of your civil rights, we will soon have no civil rights.  Come on America, wake-up and tell your Senators and Congress to stop this madness.

Feds tell Web firms to turn over user account passwords

Secret demands mark escalation in Internet surveillance by the federal government through gaining access to user passwords, which are typically stored in encrypted form.

(Credit: Photo illustration by James Martin/CNET)

The U.S. government has demanded that major Internet companies divulge users' stored passwords, according to two industry sources familiar with these orders, which represent an escalation in surveillance techniques that has not previously been disclosed.

If the government is able to determine a person's password, which is typically stored in encrypted form, the credential could be used to log in to an account to peruse confidential correspondence or even impersonate the user. Obtaining it also would aid in deciphering encrypted devices in situations where passwords are reused.

"I've certainly seen them ask for passwords," said one Internet industry source who spoke on condition of anonymity. "We push back."

A second person who has worked at a large Silicon Valley company confirmed that it received legal requests from the federal government for stored passwords. Companies "really heavily scrutinize" these requests, the person said. "There's a lot of 'over my dead body.'"

Some of the government orders demand not only a user's password but also the encryption algorithm and the so-called salt, according to a person familiar with the requests. A salt is a random string of letters or numbers used to make it more difficult to reverse the encryption process and determine the original password. Other orders demand the secret question codes often associated with user accounts.

"This is one of those unanswered legal questions: Is there any circumstance under which they could get password information?"

GB Message to Save America

The past week Glenn Beck appeared to be suffering from laryngitis, but has now had it confirmed that he is suffering from temporary paralysis of his larnyx.  If "We the People," were unable to hear Glenn Beck speak the truth aloud again, would we stop listening or working to restore Ameriica?  I want to personally thank Glenn Beck for everything he's done thus far and to let him know that I would miss hearing him deliver his monologues, or speaking truth to adversity, but I would understand if he were unable to return to the full-time radio and TV.  Glenn Beck has truly changed a lot of peoples lives and I know that he's changed mine forever.

The Speech that Rocked Virginia

E.W. Jackson is running for Lt. Governor in the State of Virginia.  Most Lt. Governor races are fairly blasé due to the fact that the Lt. Governor’s role is a fairly limited one with regards to policy and legislation to a State. But, if the fire in this politician’s belly resonates, as the fire-in-the-belly of politicians like Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Lee and our own Rep. Jason Overstreet; America does have hope to regain her stature as “the shining light upon the hill.”

Should the Tea Party accept the IRS’s apology?

The Country appears to be going through another change.  What is that change?  It’s a monumental change where people who espouse fiscal sanity, constitutional ethics, transparency in government, principled politicians and honest treatment of all US Citizens are targets of their own government.  The recent revelation that the IRS was targeting any group that showed any affiliation with Tea Party principles for “closer scrutiny” by the federal taxing authority of the United States of America has been exposed and admitted to.

Should the “Tea Party,” who ever they are, accept their apology?

Updates on the Saudi National–Held after Boston Bombing–Gone but not Forgotten–The People Demand Answers for their Safety!

It’s time to put out a series of updates I have been following through the Blaze TV.
There are a lot of questions that need to be answered for the sake of public safety of all U.S. citizens.  If the main stream media will not do their job and the story from the Obama’s Executive Administration keeps changing, then we have to keep up the pressure to get real answers.  We deserve it and I guess we’ll only get what we deserve if we demand it.
Contact your U.S. Congress and demand that they get to the bottom of this matter.  Why was this Saudi National given a 212, 3B file?  How was it removed?  Was it removed?  Where is Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi National?  Are we truly safe in America if we don’t know the truth about all of these questions?

The latest headlines at The Blaze on this issue:

CAN A 212, 3B FILE BE CHANGED? EXPERTS WEIGH IN ON SAUDI NATIONAL’S STATUS

Apr. 24, 2013 8:19pm Tiffany Gabbay
The Blaze has been extensively covering the strange details surrounding Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national who was once considered a person of interest in the Boston Marathon attacks. On his Wednesday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck explored Alharbi’s immigration status as well as provided viewers with another look at the event file he said was created on the Saudi student.
Earlier on Wednesday, Erica Ritz provided a timeline of the events surrounding the Saudi national as follows: (Click here to read the full article)

‘ARMED AND DANGEROUS’: BECK’S LATEST REVELATIONS ON SAUDI NATIONAL ONCE A ‘PERSON OF INTEREST’ IN BOSTON BOMBINGS

Apr. 24, 2013 11:04am Erica Ritz
For the past week, Glenn Beck has been investigating a Saudi national once identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing.  The story has taken a number of alarming twists and turns, but on his radio program Wednesday, Beck released some of the most interesting information yet.
But first, here are a few background points on how the case developed:
  • A Saudi national originally identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing was set to be deported under section 212, 3B — “Security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” after the bombing on April 15
  • TheBlaze received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national — identified as Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi — as the story gained traction on April 18.
  • Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer questions on the subject by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Capitol Hill on April 18, saying the inquiry was “so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it’s just not worthy of an answer.”

Innocents Betrayed ~ from Dr. Piazza of Front Sight Training Inst.

If you like this video parody that obviously takes on the Hollywood-Communitarian-Bullies, then you’ll probably enjoy the Front Sight Training Institute website and blog.  Front Sight is a firearms training facility.  The Front Sight Institute is owned by Dr. Ignasius Piazza and has become renowned for their ability to train and educate citizens in the proper use and understanding of firearms.

Here’s a quote from Dr. Piazza:

“If every law abiding American citizen was trained in the safe and responsible use of defensive firearms to levels that exceed law enforcement and military standards, together we would positively change the image of gun ownership in our lifetimes, restore the Second Amendment, and create a country forever protected against enemies foreign and domestic.”

“It is a stated goal of to positively change the image of gun ownership in our lifetimes.”

“Nobody can dispute these historical facts.  I know because I co-produced with Aaron Zelman of JPFO an entire documentary on the subject of governments killing their own people immediately following gun confiscation. The award winning documentary is titled Innocents Betrayed.  You can watch  it here http://libertycrier.com/front-page/innocents-betrayed-genocide-by-gun-control-true-history-of-gun-confiscation/

Woodward Questions White House Sanity over Sequester

President Obama mocked politician’s who manufacture crisis's, in his State of the Union address. How many times have I heard the President cry wolf?  Even if the sky were falling, or the big bad wolf were at my door, I do not believe I would believe it to be true.  In truth the sequester agreement is not a cut in the federal budget.  Sequester is a reduction in the growth of federal spending and a very small reduction at that.  If this fact doesn’t bother you, possibly this one will.  POTUS has the ultimate say in what federal program receives less federal revenue for their budget.Picture

Let’s imagine for one minute what that might look like in a real world.  Consider this; you’ve at the grocery store to buy food for the week and you usually spend $100.00 to cover your costs.  You believed you were getting an 8% raise, so you increased your food budget by 8% (that’s an extra $8.00) and you planned for $108.00 in buying power.  But, then your raise was reduced to 6%, you’ve now adjusted your food budget to $106.00.  You now have a few choices to make about your food purchasing choices.  If you’ve already made a grocery list that uses the full $108.00 and you choose what items not to purchase from your list, based on your priorities.  Or, you can buy everything that is on your list, looking for them to be on sale or a find a coupon to reduce the costs.  Or, better yet, you access your preferred media resource to do comparison shopping and learn where, or what other brands, are available at reduced costs.

When faced with difficult choices a leader knows how to make a plan, prioritize and implement it.  The Obama Administration, with the complicit help of the mainstream media, we are bombarded with one crisis to the next and I refuse to be Chicken Little, or Henny Penny screeching, “the sky is falling, the sky is falling!”

Winston Churchill once said; “The difference between a politician and a statesman is; a politician is always thinking about how to get elected and consolidate power.  The statesman is focused on what’s best for the nation.”

It’s time for We the People to start electing statesmen who will speak the truth and make the choices needed to rebuild the publics trust in government.

BOB WOODWARD: A 'Very Senior' White House Person Warned Me I'd 'Regret' What I'm Doing

Brett LoGiurato | Feb. 27, 2013, 6:53 PM | 733,723 | 733

Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a "very senior person" at the White House warned him in an email that he would "regret doing this," the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over thelooming forced cuts known as the sequester.

CNN host Wolf Blitzer said that the network invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the White House declined.Bob Woodward

"It makes me very uncomfortable to have the White House telling reporters, 'You're going to regret doing something that you believe in,'" Woodward said. "I think they're confused," Woodward said of the White House's pushback on his reporting.

Wikimedia/Bektour

Earlier today on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Woodward ripped into Obama in what has become an ongoing feud between the veteran Washington Post journalist and the White House. Woodward said Obama was showing a "kind of madness I haven't seen in a long time" for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.  Click here to read the full story.

Tax Dollars Used for Racist Sensitivity Training

Diversity at its best?  Hah!  Diversity at its worst and we’re paying for it!  Your tax dollars and mine are being used to do this type of diversity training at all levels of government.  It’s time to raise our voices and let our elected officials know how we feel about this type of indoctrination happening with our tax dollars.

If this is happening in adult settings with our government workers, can you imagine what’s happening in the public school classrooms?  I shudder to think as it was shared with me that public schools (who cannot honor Christmas, Easter or any Christian celebration) commonly have special events like Karl Marx Day, and so many other anti-American, anti-Federalist, or anti-Free Market Capitalism.  Our children rarely spend time studying the history of big-thinkers like President Calvin Coolidge, economists such as the late Milton Friedman or Walter Williams.

Is it really any wonder that our nation is publicly $16.6T in debt, a debt that is 74.6% of our GDP now, and an external debt to GDP ration of 99.8%?  Just for kicks I checked out how the State of Washington is doing in comparison, but you should remember that States are actually supposed to abide by a balanced budget.  So, even though the State of Washington appears to be doing much better than the Federal government, Washington State does spend more than we pay-in. The State of Washington has a debt to GDP ratio of 20.5%.  If that made you feel better, try this on for size.  The State of California’s debt to GDP ratio is 20.4%.  But heck, remember that statement from President Obama at the, no so long ago, State of the Union Address? I am paraphrasing here, but the President said;  “We are living at a time where many political parties are manufacturing crisis after crisis.”

What I’m asking you, if you’ve taken the time to check-in and read this posting, have you, will you take the time to contact your political representatives?  Tell them to stop wasting tax dollars.  Tell them that they could start by demanding that we stop promoting events like the one I’ve shared with you here.

The Dismantling of the 2nd Amendment

With all of the debates on gun control which are happening around the nation on:

  • Who’s to blame for mass murders?
  • Why does anyone need a gun?
  • How can we protect the children?
  • What’s the need for mega-sized magazines for guns?
  • This isn’t the 17th Century and the Founders wouldn’t approve of citizen’s having high powered, military style weapons today.
  • We’ve got to register and restrict gun ownership, because guns are too dangerous.

Heard it before?  We’ll hear it again and again, I fear, because we’ve abdicated our responsibility to teach our children how to use and respect guns.  We’ve failed to teach our children that life is precious above all else.  We’ve allowed a culture of death and violence to permeate every aspect of so-called, entertainment to occupy our minds at leisure.  There is an apparent concerted effort between progressives in the media and politics to use fear to control us.

The 2nd Amendment was not written to make certain man would always be capable of feeding themselves, but to insure that man would always be capable of defending themselves from criminals and tyrannical government.

“A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

We the People have nothing to fear from a moral and well educated populaceWe the People should be watchful that an ever growing and powerful government does not enable itself to be our Father, Mother, Teacher, Warden and Priest.Nra Gun Control

The author of the post below, David Mamet, is a self-professed, born-again conservative.  David’s journey from progressive to conservative was a long struggle that he wrote about in his recently published book; “The Secret Knowledge on the Dismantling of American Culture.”  David’s latest published article in Newsweek sums up a lot of why we must resist the urge to give over our freedom and liberty to Big Government.

Gun Laws and the Fools of Chelm†

Jan 29, 2013 12:00 AM EST

The individual is not only best qualified to provide his own personal defense, he is the only one qualified to do so. By David Mamet.

Karl Marx summed up Communism as “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” This is a good, pithy saying, which, in practice, has succeeded in bringing, upon those under its sway, misery, poverty, rape, torture, slavery, and death.

‘In announcing his gun control proposals, President Obama said that he was not restricting Second Amendment rights, but allowing other constitutional rights to flourish.’

For the saying implies but does not name the effective agency of its supposed utopia. The agency is called “The State,” and the motto, fleshed out, for the benefit of the easily confused must read “The State will take from each according to his ability: the State will give to each according to his needs.” “Needs and abilities” are, of course, subjective. So the operative statement may be reduced to “the State shall take, the State shall give.”

All of us have had dealings with the State, and have found, to our chagrin, or, indeed, terror, that we were not dealing with well-meaning public servants or even with ideologues but with overworked, harried bureaucrats. These, as all bureaucrats, obtain and hold their jobs by complying with directions and suppressing the desire to employ initiative, compassion, or indeed, common sense. They are paid to follow orders.

Rule by bureaucrats and functionaries is an example of the first part of the Marxist equation: that the Government shall determine the individual’s abilities.

As rules by the Government are one-size-fits-all, any governmental determination of an individual’s abilities must be based on a bureaucratic assessment of the lowest possible denominator.  Click here to read the full story.

Will History Repeat Itself Again? “Tyrants, Gun-Control & Children”

It’s not often that I find it necessary to repost an entire article.  It’s not often that I post from the controversial website InfoWars.com.  But with the ongoing controversy, the almost manic behavior of the media and politicians, to see who can out-do themselves on the un-Constitutional actions to infringe “Our 2nd Amendment Rights.”

I’ve been listening to all of the points being made on why and what they are planning to implement as gun control measures and do not agree a wit with their reasoning.

  1. There is no admission that the perpetrators of these mass murders are not just mentally ill, they’re also under the influence of prescribed psychotropic drugs.
  2. They are using this to further intrude on personal privacy by way of the doctor/patient relationship.
  3. A likely outcome of the executive orders, or any gun legislation that bans selling guns to the mentally ill and a lot of individuals who need help getting through a personal struggle, simply will not reach out for help.  Would you?
  4. There are so many un-enforceable laws out there now, this will end-up being just another costly law that will make no difference to the safety of law-abiding citizens.

Here is another interesting tidbit that anyone can easily find online if they look:

1. 61,911,000 Murdered: The Soviet Gulag State
2. 35,236,000 Murdered: The Communist Chinese Ant Hill
3. 20,946,000 Murdered: The Nazi Genocide State
4. 10,214,000 Murdered: The Depraved Nationalist Regime

FBI 2010 homicide statistics for a total of 12,996 multiplied by 100 years, is 1,299,600 homicides.

Enjoy the pictures, they’re worth a 1000 words.

OBAMA signs renewal of Foreign Surveillance Law

Isn’t he a peach!  The most transparent administration has gone black to avoid the limelight of his (and Congress’ s) traitorous actions.  Not to mention they reauthorized the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), without any partisan complications.

OBAMA SIGNS RENEWAL OF FOREIGN SURVEILLANCE LAW

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama has signed into law a five-year extension of the U.S. government's authority to monitor the overseas activity of suspected foreign spies and terrorists.

The warrantless intercept program would have expired at the end of 2012 without the president's approval. The renewal bill won final passage in the Senate on Friday.

Known as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the law allows the government to monitor overseas phone calls and emails without obtaining a court order for each intercept.

The law does not apply to Americans. When Americans are targeted for surveillance, the government must get a warrant from a special 11-judge court of U.S. district judges appointed by the Supreme Court. Click here to read the full story.

NDAA Indefinite Detention Bill Passes Senate After Rand Paul Calls It An 'Abomination'

The Senate passed a version of the National Defense Authorization Act that was stripped of a prohibition of the indefinite military detention of US citizens on American soil by an 81-14 vote on Friday, but only after a furious dissent on the chamber's floor by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who called it an "abomination."

The National Defense Authorization Act of 2013 will now head to the White House, which had earlier pledged to veto the NDAA because it prevents the president from closing the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. It is unclear whether the president will follow through on the threat.  Click here to read the full story.

Say “Hello”…Big Brother is listening and storing your private emails!

From Russia Today (RT) comes a startling video about a U.S. program called Naris which is capturing and storing all emails, of all U.S. citizen's.  There is a lot of data to be stored and is being stored all over the country.  In fact, they are building a huge facility to store all of this data, without a legal warrant or credible reason to violate the privacy of private citizens.

With all of the shenanigans and downright criminal activity going on right in front of us, why does our government need to capture our words in this manner?

'Everyone in US under virtual surveillance' - NSA whistleblower

Published: 04 December, 2012, 18:01

The FBI has the e-mails of nearly all US citizens, including congressional members, according to NSA whistleblower William Binney. Speaking to RT he warned that the government can use information against anyone it wants.

One of the best mathematicians and code breakers in NSA history resigned in 2001 because he no longer wanted to be associated with alleged violations of the constitution.

He asserts, that the FBI has access to this data due to a powerful device Naris.

This year Binney received the Callaway award. The annual award was established to recognize those, who stand out for constitutional rights and American values at great risk to their personal or professional lives.

RT: In light of the Petraeus/Allen scandal while the public is so focused on the details of their family drama one may argue that the real scandal in this whole story is the power, the reach of the surveillance state. I mean if we take General Allen – thousands of his personal e-mails have been sifted through private correspondence. It’s not like any of those men was planning an attack on America. Does the scandal prove the notion that there is no such thing as privacy in a surveillance state?

William Binney: Yes, that’s what I’ve been basically saying for quite some time, is that the FBI has access to the data collected, which is basically the e-mails of virtually everybody in the country. And the FBI has access to it. All the congressional members are on the surveillance too, no one is excluded. They are all included. So, yes, this can happen to anyone. If they become a target for whatever reason – they are targeted by the government, the government can go in, or the FBI, or other agencies of the government, they can go into their database, pull all that data collected on them over the years, and we analyze it all. So, we have to actively analyze everything they’ve done for the last 10 years at least.

RT: Tell me about the most outrageous thing that you came across during your work at the NSA.

WB: The violations of the constitution and any number of laws that existed at the time. That was the part that I could not be associated with. That’s why I left. They were building social networks on who is communicating and with whom inside this country. So that the entire social network of everybody, of every US citizen was being compiled overtime. So, they are taking from one company alone roughly 320 million records a day. That’s probably accumulated probably close to 20 trillion over the years. The original program that we put together to handle this to be able to identify terrorists anywhere in the world and alert anyone that they were in jeopardy. We would have been able to do that by encrypting everybody’s communications except those, who were targets. So, in essence you would protect their identities and the information about them until you could develop probable cause, and once you showed your probable cause, then you could do a decrypt and target them. And we could do that and isolate those people all alone. It wasn’t a problem at all. There was no difficulty in that.

Elections have consequences

After the 2012 Presidential Election, the actions of an overt and zealous administrations is set to pump-up the adrenalin.  To finish the work of FDR, Wilson, Johnson and Obama.  Yes, I know that there have been many Republicans that have capitulated to the progressive move towards collectivism.  The go along – to get along has been an abysmal mistake on the part of many.

Here a just a few of the many things to come.  After all that happened in the last four years, do you even know what had been put on hold until after the election?

Yes, “We the People,” elections do have consequences!

Some more wise words from another private citizen with enough courage to ask the tough questions…

Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report

“The economy would need to be growing at breakneck speed for unemployment to drop to 7.8% from 8.3% in the course of two months.”

By JACK WELCH

Imagine a country where challenging the ruling authorities—questioning, say, a piece of data released by central headquarters—would result in mobs of administration sympathizers claiming you should feel "embarrassed" and labeling you a fool, or worse.

Soviet Russia perhaps? Communist China? Nope, that would be the United States right now, when a person (like me, for instance) suggests that a certain government datum (like the September unemployment rate of 7.8%) doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately for those who would like me to pipe down, the 7.8% unemployment figure released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) last week is downright implausible. And that's why I made a stink about it. (Read the full story here)

Overstreet and Shea endorse “Shahram Hadian” for Washington States next Governor in 2012

Last Saturday, at the Whatcom Freedom Rally, in front of a crowd of approximately 200 people, a number of Washington State’s most conservative, most courageous political representatives endorsed Shahram Hadian  as their "courageous leadership” campaign kick-off.  Please take a moment to watch the video of their endorsement and take a moment out of your day to learn more about this candidate, “Shahram Hadian” for Governor of Washington State in 2012.
There are many links to video of Hadian at numerous other political rallies.  Only with principled leadership, that is dedicated to protect, defend and grow individual liberty, will we insure the life our forefathers died for and our children will pine for if lost to them.
