Got GBTV? Get it and tune in to: “Rumors of War III”

As I have said before and I will state again, if you haven’t signed-up for GBTV, you should.  The monthly subscription is under $10 and is some of the best $10 I spend every month.  The information shared on GBTV goes way beyond what Beck was capable of airing on FOX News.
Disclaimer:  I am not and have never been a paid spokes person for Glenn Beck or any of his affiliate organizations.  I am a private citizen who shares stories that link together what’s happening, so “you” can use common sense to make sense of it all.

On Wednesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. ET, GBTV will air a powerful documentary entitled “Rumors of War III,” which delves into the infiltration of America’s government by militant Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood. The special promises to provide “irrefutable evidence of the attack underway being perpetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah.”
Providing a preliminary look into the investigation, General William Boykin — who appears in the documentary — joined Glenn Beck on his Tuesday morning radio broadcast to discuss some little known facts about the role U.S. lawmakers have played in helping the Muslim Brotherhood gain entry into American politics and government institutions.
Gen. Boykin, a founding member of Delta Force, told Beck that Islamist groups have been gaining access to American lawmakers for years, starting under the Clinton administration. The problem, according to the general, has only been “enhanced” by the Obama administration.
Among the nation’s Muslim Brotherhood enablers, according to Gen. Boykin, is Americans for Tax Reform founder, Grover Norquist, who he said brought Suheil Khan — the son of a radical cleric — under his wing and frequently liaised with other Muslim groups here in the U.S., even to the exclusion of attending conservative events. It is is only now, the general pointed out, that Congress is starting to recognize Norquist’s “checkered background.”
Beck noted that perhaps the best observation shared by Gen. Boykin was when he asked how on earth could the Muslim Brotherhood be “secular” given that its very name reveals its religious and ideological affiliation. The name “Muslim Brotherhood” should “give you someclue,” the general quipped.

Soros Quote of the Century: “A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.”

There’s so much going on and so little time to put personal comment to it, that for the sake of expediency I need to just get some of these posts out there for you to read and share among your family and friends.

When we work together to share knowledge and experience, we are a much stronger force to be dealt with.  “Do not” allow any political organization to divide us from ourselves and our individual civil liberties.

Soros: ‘A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.’

April 24, 2012 OpEd   By Bill Wilson

Speaking in Denmark on April 16 with that country’s economics minister at an event hosted by the Politiken newspaper, billionaire investor George Soros took aim at austerity measures in Europe, saying they were only making things worse as countries there attempt to control the sovereign debt crisis.

“You can grow out of excessive debt, you cannot shrink out of excessive debts,” Soros said, blasting balanced budget policies as the culprit behind slowing economic growth. In a Financial Times piece, he called European Union-imposed austerity measures “counterproductive”.

The irony is Europe is already in a recession that was brought on not by balanced budgets or fiscal responsibility, but by too much government debt.george-soros

In Greece, for example, this came in the form of excessive public pension and health care obligations. In Ireland, it took the form of guaranteeing the losses of failed banks as the country’s housing bubble popped.

Soros’ comments came after a far more revealing speech in Berlin on April 13 where he really got to the heart of the matter. There, he spoke on a panel entitled “The Future of Europe” at the Institute for New Economic Thinking’s (INET) Paradigm Lost Conference.

There he compared European debtors like Greece and Ireland to “third world countries that have become heavily indebted in a foreign currency”.

Soros explained, “This happened because they transferred their seigniorage rights to the ECB [European Central Bank]. That’s why they can’t print their own money. And because they can’t print their own money, there is a real danger that they would default.”

That’s a rather honest accounting of the current crisis from Soros. Under this analysis, the only thing that apparently separates Europe from the U.S. (or Japanese) debt crises is that we possess far more efficient printing presses in the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan as compared to the ECB.

Soros crystallized this seeming reality: “A sovereign that can print the money can’t default, will never default.”

Of course, according to Standard & Poor’s there were about 84 sovereign defaults in fiat currencies between 1975 and 2002, as reported recently by San Jose University associate professor Jeffrey Rogers Hummel. So default is actually a real possibility, even with a fiat currency. But let’s leave that aside for a moment.

Obama’s War on Fossil Fuels and Jobs (a race to the bottom?)

Last Friday on GBTV, there was an excellent discussion on what is currently happening to domestic fossil fuel drilling, mining and production in the United States.  With the discovery of vast new resources of domestic energy within the United States, how do you defend what’s happening at the federal level within the Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR)?

YiT ~  Shelly

52% of America’s electricity is generated from coal, yet President Obama is seeking to “cripple” the coal industry and put it out of business. In a night dedicated to “standing up for coal,” Glenn Beck interviewed leading industry executive about President Obama’s war on fossil fuels.

One of the panelists perhaps summed it up best when he said the president “is fundamentally transforming America” and that he believes his goal “is to lower our standard of living so the rest of the world can catch up to us.”

As a result, jobs — some 2.15 million by 2010 — are lost, communities are devastated and power is being taken off the grid.

Watch as Beck and the panel dispel commonly held myths and explains the truth about coal.

Citizen’s Petition to “Stop” Wind Turbine Proposal for Galbraith Mountian, in Whatcom County

Oo-oo-h!  Just found this local article from the Whatcom Excavator.  It is a beauty of an article, because it clearly defines everything “wrong” with large wind turbines in an area that has plentiful “clean” hydro-electrical energy, which is sold to the consumer at a lower rate than wind or solar can be.

Another gem to share with you and for you to share too!

Huge Wind Turbine Project on Galbraith Mountain Raises Questions

Talk around town is that serious questions have been raised about an absolutely immense wind turbine project that's been proposed for installation at the top of Galbraith Mountain.   This mega-machine so far exceeds the County's recently enacted standards it requires a conditional use permit.   WE checked out the turbine specs, and learned that - yes indeed (see the particulars) - this has a 100 meter rotor diameter, that's 328 feet.
With all the outcry from our local eco-elite alarmists about retaining the county's scenic beauty, habitat, and rural character, in uber-green style most want to turn a totally blind eye away from this project's impacts, which would be many.
This machine will make an incredible amount of noise (the specs say 106 decibels) when it runs - well beyond safe limits.   And there's no question that this will slaughter birds like crazy for years if it's built.   At three times the height of Bellingham Towers it will need to have have aircraft warning lights.   So much for the Galbraith Mountain skyline, aesthetics, etc.    The foundation and earthwork will be significant, at a location right between the Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish watersheds.   These turbines are notorious for leaking oil, among other environmental impacts.   So much for watershed protection.   At a minimum, a very big buffer (perhaps 1000 feet) should be required around the thing.   Imagine how far a broken blade would fly (they weigh tons), and there's that pesky noise issue.

PictureTwo griffon vultures killed by turbines in Navarre, Spain. One of them has been sliced in half by the blade.

Kenersys K100 2.5MW Wind Turbine

To top it off, this wind turbine will require a tremendous amount of cash subsidy.   WE reported last fall how much power bills are already grossly inflated to stuff the pockets of windpower outfits.   This "industry" has been a gold-rush, unrestrained by reality.  Turbines don't turn all the time, and cost-benefit runs to the "highly inefficient end of the scale" almost everywhere.   WE have never been "NIMBY" types, but this looks like a one-way cash cow of the worst kind.

Florida Senator “Allen West” shines as a Constitutional Literate

Please take the time to listen, comprehend, enjoy and (I ask you to) share this video.  Senator West was a guest on the “Glenn Beck” radio program last week.  After Senator West’s public speech where he verbally addresses the number of outright “communists” that have been elected to federal office.

The “Progressive Caucus” is made up of members who are elected to be representatives of the people, and who take an oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.  The Progressive Caucus continually, blatantly work to subvert the contract of “We the People”, that guards against communitarianism and government tyranny. The first order of business before any newly elected official takes office is their oath of office, which is to stand-up for “individual” liberty, prosperity, freedom and opportunity.

Happy “Lenin” ‘er, “Earth Day” to Humanity from Mother Earth

Happy “Earth Day” to everyone.  No really!  Happy Earth Day!  On April 22nd, of each year, our country blindly celebrates their worship of Mother Earth (Gaia) and the communitarianism “we” all share in honoring her.  But, do you know where “Earth Day” originates from and why the date of April 22nd was chosen to celebrate this event?

God bless you Mother Earth.  The miracle we call earth and the miracle of humanity are worthy of celebration.  But really, should it be modeled after the despot, statist, Lenin?

Clue: It didn't start as celebration of butterflies, recycling and solar energy

By Kevin DeAnna

School children, businesses, clergy, politicians and even the United States military soon will honor the birthday of Vladimir Lenin, founder of the Soviet Union.

Of course, they will call it Earth Day.

Brian Sussman points out in his explosive new book, “Eco-Tyranny: How the Left’s Green Agenda will Dismantle America,” that the first nationwide Earth Day was held April 22, 1970, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the communist Bolshevik leader.

The “nationwide teach in” was spearheaded by Democratic Sen. Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin and college professor Paul Ehrlich.

‘4’ Part Series on UN/A21 for Sustainable Development and its Action Plan

I just found this series of articles posted by Kathleen Marquardt.  These postings will give you a more in-depth understanding of the United Nations action plan for Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development the brain child of the International Council for Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), now known as Local Governments for Sustainability.

Enjoy each these articles.

The wake-up call to Sustainable Development and the death of Private Property Rights.

ICLEI and the APA (American Planning Association)

If it can happen in Wisconsin, it can happen in Washington State

Over the past year or more I have given a lot of material on the United Nations action plan known as “Agenda 21 for Sustainable Development”.  When we read, hear or say the word “sustainable”, it conjures up peaceful images of pastures, wild flowers, wildlife grazing in the meadows, trees in full bloom, a solitary home and even a barn or out building for tending to the land, maybe an old truck or tractor, a clothes line and barn yard life milling about the open spaces.
The reality of Agenda 21’s (A21)action plan is anything but this image.  The end game for A21 is a stack’em - pack’em model for humansPlacing a fence around us that prevents you and I from venturing into the natural wilderness (humans are too much of a threat to “Mother Nature” you know) and removes almost 50% of the continental United States for wildlife preservation as proposed by the “Wildlands Project”The remaining 45% is slated for intense regulation, leaving only 5% of the continental United States for human occupation.  Does this description spring visions of Utopia for you?
The implementation of UN/A21 has been made possible by sending out dedicated believers for a “globalist view for global governance and “equal justice”.  They do not believe or promote for, “equal opportunity” for all nations.  They do not safeguard individual rights, national or state sovereignty.  These minions have convinced our local politicians to buy into “ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability.  Why have our local representatives bought into ICLEI?  Because ICLEI or ICLEI USA, shows them the money and how they can have a lot of it!  Free money you know!  There’s never any strings attached to free money!  Oh no!  That’s not true is it? Because there are always strings attached to other peoples money.  (Here’s an article that will give you a good precursor of ICLEI and how it has poisoned the individual property rights of private citizen’s all across America.)  The City of Bellingham are members of ICLEI and Whatcom County has only recently voted to discontinue their membership with ICLEI USA (ICLEI USA's website boasts they are 7,748 member cities strong).   Even if Whatcom County opts out of ICLEI, they (the County Council and the County Executive) will have to spend time to root out all of the anti-Constitutional, anti-County Charter, language they have implanted into County doctrine for the past decades.  Since our new County Executive won election with the “Sustainable Connections” moniker attached to his political website, he must be willing to forego that connection and work with the Council to remove all of the language of ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability, in order to restore property rights that were seriously eroded from their affiliation with ICLEI.
All across America people are waking-up to the fallacy of sustainable development as a means to provide the utopian social justice of the Fabian Society or the utopian dreams of the Gaia's.  They have dreamed of this transformational change for centuries, but that darned U.S. Constitution has always been in the way.  That fabulous document which guarantees inalienable rights for all individuals and protects all of us from mob rule and government oppression.
So I ask you; “If it can happen in Wisconsin, can it happen in Washington State?”

How Dumb are We???

Please take a moment to read the article I’ve posted below.  It is from the blog, “Watts Up With That” (WUWT), which is a conglomeration of professional and amateur scientists.  They focus on the “science” of climate and energy, how we’re all being bamboozled and filched of our hard earned labor for a hoax that will likely be written into the annals of history for how to get rich by doing “nothing” for the greater good of society.

Today’s post is full of charts and graphs to document for the lay person how little the earth has warmed over the past century and is indeed headed into a  cooling cycle the depth of which no scientist knows the answer to.  One thing all of them agree with is, that old Sol will be dancing along with us.  And, when Sol begins to bump and burp we’ll warm-up and cycle out of the cold days on earth.

A Big Picture Look At “Earth’s Temperature” – Quarterly Update

Posted on April 15, 2012by justthefactswuwt

By WUWT regular “Just The Facts”

This format received a positive response in the previous article and apparently encouraged Skeptical Science to take A Big Picture Look at Global Warming, thus this article will be updated on a quarterly basis moving forward. In their article, Skeptical Science argued that “the planet is indeed warming rapidly” and this rate “is expected to increase”. Suggestions as to which data/graphics included below best demonstrate rapid warming are most welcome…

Please note that WUWT cannot vouch for the accuracy of the data/graphics within this article, nor influence the format or form of any of the graphics, as they are all linked from third party sources and WUWT is simply an aggregator. You can view each graphic at its source my simply clicking on it.

Global Surface Temperatures:

Generally, when referring to Earth’s “climate” warming, proponents of the Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) narrative, refer to Earth’s Surface Temperature, e.g. “Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released by people burning fossil fuels.” NASA Earth Observatory

Politicians continue to ask Automobile Drivers to fund more Mass Transit in Washington State

An excellent source for news on what’s happening in “Washington State, Counties, Cities, and even our Local Communities” in politics, is the Washington Policy Institute.

Please enjoy this post from the Washington Policy Institute.  I have added them to my favorite blogs and trust you will check-in with them to read and educate yourself on what’s happening in politics “locally”.  Their articles and posts will help to educate you to become a better informed voter and promoter of “free enterprise” for a truly diverse and healthy economy in Washington State, Whatcom County and all the Cities within Whatcom County.

WA public transit agencies spent $12.6 billion in last five years

April 12, 2012

King County Executive Dow Constantine wants drivers to pay even higher taxes and fees to not only reinvest in the roads they drive on, but to also subsidize mass transit.

In a statement released yesterday, Constantine says the following,

"Despite having the votes and bipartisan support for 'local-option' bills to allow counties to ask voters for desperately-needed transit and road revenues, lawmakers failed to bring those bills to the floor.

The bills would have created local options for cities and counties to raise transportation related taxes and fees. With the exception of the gas tax, those taxes and fees would have been used to subsidize mass transit.

There are two big problems with Constantine’s argument. Public transit is not underfunded and the new taxes and fees would have been unfairly paid by a single user group; drivers.

All transportation taxes and fees paid by drivers should be used for highway purposes only, while alternative travel modes should be funded by their own users (which reduces the public subsidy) or through local options that apply to the general public, like sales taxes.
