Hurricane Sandy…is the sky falling…or maybe not???

Has Hurricane Sandy left a whole lot of pain, death and devastation in her wake?  Yes.  Is this proof of climate change?  No.  Instead of wasting all of our time and wealth on trying to reverse life back in time, it would have been better spent developing the technology to survive severe weather events, like Sandy.  Was there any doubt that if and when there was a catastrophic weather event in the United States, that all of the fear peddlers would climb back out from whence they’d gone to attempt an “I told you so!”

In Western Washington we had just under 90 straight days of dry weather.  The weather across the nation this last spring and summer, had scant water that caused a poor start to their crops.  The year before the farms across the nation had a cold, wet spring that hurt their crops and caused crop loss from molds.  But, no matter what the “weather” caused here and there, somewhere the weather was great and they were able to benefit from it.  That’s the way weather is, dry here, wet there, cold somewhere while it’s hot somewhere else.

Climate change on the other hand is a slow, deliberate process that occurs due to planetary alignments, gravitational pull and solar activity.   Whether we like it or not, we are an insignificant factor to the earth’s long history.  Likely, we will be remembered as a flicker of time in some history book, someplace, somewhere.

Some brave meteorologists get it and are tasked with the difficult job of cutting through the fog of dis-information spread by those selling non-scientifically proven, doom peddling, known as global cooling - global warming – climate change.  This hysteria is spoon fed us to us daily.  What could possibly be the motive?  To attain the goals of Agenda 21?  I’m just asking you to use some common sense and consider the sourceSleeping half-moon.

Do onto Yourself as You do to Others!

Are you better off from four years ago?  I know that I am not and most people I know are not.  Even with low interest rates and lots of money to lend, you need huge down payments and are scrutinized with a microscope as to your ability to pay your loan.

Here’s a bright idea!  Let’s apply the same prerequisites to the Federal Government to borrow money from the Federal Reserve or any foreign government, that is being applied to the private citizens and private businesses.  That’s probably the best idea I’ve come up with in four years!

Enjoy the video.  See if you hear anything new in the promises and btw, how’s that “hope and change” working out for you?

Vote because its “our” right to choose principled “Leadership”

The 2012 general election is quickly coming to a crescendo.  It is my belief that this election will be pivotal for the direction of our nation, state and county.  Please honor those who have come before us and those who will follow after us, and vote for the life – liberty – and freedom, that our Founding Fathers and veterans have fought so hard to give us.  Preserve individual freedom so that America will remain the shining beacon on the hill to guide everyone home.

This audio file was sent to me from the local “Whatcom Tea Party,” with a message to remind everyone not only to vote, but why we must vote.

“Trouble is brewing in Thurston County, Washington State and Washington D.C., due to the channelings of J.Z. Knight”

Found more interesting things on the horizon of politics.  Didn’t know this was “brewing” just in time for “All Hallows Eve.”

If you’ve never heard of J.Z. Knight, you will soon.  J.Z. Knight is a “channeler,” who became famous a couple of decades ago.  J.Z. is a worshiper of Gaia.  Whether you share J.Z.’s predilection for new ageism, or you shake your head in confusion or disgust, this is a large segment of the “power” players in progressive politics these days.

Enjoy this article from Glenn Morgan of the Freedom Foundation.  Click on the links that are embedded to read the articles and listen to the audio/video news about this bubbling story.

You don’t have to be a spirit-channeler to get all the information about J.Z. Knight

J.Z. Knight and her Ramtha School of Enlightenment are in the news—and not in a positive way. You can’t browse the internet today without seeing her name associated with a shocking (to say the least) video that shows Ramtha spewing anti-Catholic, anti-Semitic, and anti-gay rhetoric during one of her “enlightenment” sermons.

This story has come to light largely because of the Freedom Foundation’s (and volunteer’s) tenacity and research into local government issues in Thurston County. The Ramtha story came to our attention when a local activist contacted the Freedom Foundation asking how we could help shine some light on the cult activity taking place there. The more digging we did into this story, the more bizarre it has become. The media is now catching on to this story like a firestorm and it has taken on a life of its own.

Since so much has already been written about this story, we thought you might like to have all the information compiled in one place. If you know of other stories that are out there, please let us know and we will add the links below.

Why are there any undecided voters left?

When I engage people in conversation about anything of political consequence there is a familiar theme; “That’s why I don’t vote.”  Barring my mouth dropping open and catching flies, I am in shock over this dilemma.  If you don’t understand the issues, there are plenty of non-partisan sources to reach out to for clarity on the issues.

Are “You” voting this year?  If you choose to sit it out because you refuse to spend some time reading up on the ballots and the candidates, so be it.  Please do not complain about the lack of jobs, low wages, the cost of food, clothing and housing, or a politicians lack of principles.  Those principles start at home.  It is each of our responsibility to care enough about our Country to vote for the most principled individual(s) that will represent “you.”

Need some help sourcing for your votes?  Check out these links:

  1. The Freedom Foundation is a great place to start.
  2. The Washington State Voters Online guide is another great resource.
  3. Here’s another well connected site called, “Politics 1.”
  4. If you have further need to vet the candidates, you can always call upon your local “Tea Party” for non-partisan information.

With the election only 15 days from now, it is everyone’s responsibility to turn-off “Dancing with the Stars,” or whatever source you’re using to keep your head in the sand and fill out that voters ballot.  After the election is over, you will have more time to spend not paying attention to anything past the end of your nose, or you’ll be so busy trying to figure out how you lost your shirt to the collectivists that nothing else will matter.  Sarcastic smile

Big Government + Big Promises = Big Problems

Everyday we fail to get honest answers on how the federal, state, counties and cities are going to come up with the funds to pay out all of the unfunded, mandated promises of future pension payments.

There is only one real solution to this problem and that is to stop making promises we cannot afford to keep!  If we the people insist that our elected public servants stop increasing the level of public spending beyond the tax payers ability to pay, remove the mandates to pay prevailing union scale wages, start privatizing as much government services as quickly as we can; maybe we can avoid the upcoming. fiscal train-wreck, headed our way.

Enjoy the article provided below and stay tuned…this one is coming soon!

Exclusive: Study shows $1.2 trillion gap for public pensions

By Hilary Russ - Mon Oct 15, 2012 3:01pm EDT

(Reuters) - The largest 100 public pension funds have around $1.2 trillion of unfunded liabilities, about $300 billion above the nearly $900 billion they reported themselves, according to a new actuarial study to be released on Monday.

The pension systems reported a median funding level of 75.1 percent. The study by the actuarial firm Milliman, which used different ways to value assets and measure liabilities, finds an aggregate level of funding of 67.8 percent.

But Milliman, one of the world largest actuarial firms took a close look at U.S. public pension funding for the first time, and said the multibillion-dollar difference was good news.

Rebecca Sielman, the report's author, said results should reassure the public that America's public pensions in general are accurately reporting their funding shortfalls.

The difference between what public pensions across the United States have reported and what Milliman found wasn't significant, Sielman said. She noted that a relatively small change in the way the figures are calculated could lead to seemingly outsized results because the funds are so large.

"The numbers really didn't change that much," she said. "It really didn't move the needle."

Both the pension funds' reported results and Milliman's findings fell within the range of previous estimates from other studies of the total size of the public pension shortfall in the United States.

With the study, Milliman, stepped into the debate about whether public pensions are underreporting the size of their liabilities.  (Click here to read the full story)

CNBC’s “Rick Santelli” continues to tell the audience the truth.  Come what may, Mr. Santelli understands that the only real solution to the Country’s, no the World’s problems are by telling the truth.   The dirt that has accumulated under the carpet from the lies and deceit cannot be hidden anymore.  It’s up to “us” to fix-it!

This video that come from the Blaze, shares a recent rant between talking heads and the truth at CNBC.  Thank You Mr. Rick Santelli…we are listening.

Some more wise words from another private citizen with enough courage to ask the tough questions…

Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report

“The economy would need to be growing at breakneck speed for unemployment to drop to 7.8% from 8.3% in the course of two months.”

By JACK WELCH

Imagine a country where challenging the ruling authorities—questioning, say, a piece of data released by central headquarters—would result in mobs of administration sympathizers claiming you should feel "embarrassed" and labeling you a fool, or worse.

Soviet Russia perhaps? Communist China? Nope, that would be the United States right now, when a person (like me, for instance) suggests that a certain government datum (like the September unemployment rate of 7.8%) doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately for those who would like me to pipe down, the 7.8% unemployment figure released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) last week is downright implausible. And that's why I made a stink about it. (Read the full story here)
