Geither; “Remove the Debt Limit and allow for Infinite Spending”

Whoa!  This guy (the tax cheat) is verbally announcing that he wants Congress to permanently lift the debt ceiling?

What world is Geithner and his ilk living?  The demise of all freedom will befall us if we do not get people like Obama, Geithner and all redistributive, socialists, communist, statists out of office.

Pray for us…we need a miracle.

Cradle to Grave…Nanny Government will be there for you…or not?

After watching President Obama and Gov. Christie showboat the masses with their concern for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, the reporters cameras dimmed, and the victims were left behind to deal with Nanny Government. They promised to fulfill their everyday necessities. Too bad that just like Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy has proven to be too much for a bloated bureaucracy to manage.

HORRORS OF FEMA DISASTER RELIEF

Exclusive: Chuck Norris applauds private efforts to help Hurricane Sandy victims

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.’”

– President Ronald Reagan

Those wise and yet haunting words spoken by one of our nation’s greatest presidents couldn’t ring more true – especially today, as winter sets in on an estimated 130,000 of our fellow Americans who are still struggling without power. Many live without heat, hot water or inhabitable homes and question the government’s efforts to alleviate their condition.

Amid the election frenzy, several mainstream media outlets instantly praised the Obama administration’s response to the Hurricane Sandy devastation in the Northeast. But let’s look beneath the congratulatory headlines to see the real and horrifying picture of what’s happening.

Right now, homeless Americans are literally freezing, wrapped in blankets and trash bags as they struggle to survive in FEMA tent cities such as New Jersey’s “Camp Freedom,” which reportedly “resembles a prison camp.”

“Sitting there last night you could see your breath,” displaced resident Brian Sotelo told the Asbury Park Press. “At (Pine Belt) the Red Cross made an announcement that they were sending us to permanent structures up here that had just been redone, that had washing machines and hot showers and steady electric, and they sent us to tent city. We got (expletived).”

Corruption at the DoE??? Really???

The fact that all of the green energy development is not green, should be reason enough to stop spending tax dollars on promoting it until it becomes economically viable to produce.

Corruption at the Dept of Energy shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, since it doesn’t make any sense that we’re giving out tax payer largesse to finance it.  Who cares if you waste someone else’s dollar(s)?

Lawsuit Alleges “Corruption and Negligence” at Department of Energy

Lachlan Markay  November 16, 2012 at 11:35 am

A lawsuit filed in federal court on Wednesday alleges mass favoritism in the Department of Energy’s decisions to award federal grants to major car companies to develop electric vehicles, according to a legal complaint obtained by Scribe.

The plaintiff, San Francisco-based XP Technology, says in a complaint filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims that “corruption and negligence” pervaded DOE’s decision to award loan guarantees to Ford, Nissan, Tesla Motors, and Fisker Automotive for the development of electric vehicle technology.

“Investigations have shown that DOE officials intentionally stalled numerous applicants’ reviews in order to force them out of business and protect favored players,” the complaint claims. It adds:

XP has received information demonstrating that the unprecedented number of failures in the DOE program relative to what DOE officials have claimed to be “the most expensive and extensive due diligence in history” is explained by manipulated reviews, in the due diligence effort, on behalf of what the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) investigations found to be “favoritism” in published investigation reports. A senate ethics investigation states, in published reports, that “negligence and mismanagement by DOE officials” was a regular occurrence.

XP, which applied for federal backing under the Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing program, “is seeking to have applicants who were “targeted” receive fair re-reviews, in a transparent manner, if they so desire.”

Obama breaks another election year promise

Very shortly after the Presidential Election of 2012, President Obama’s Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, has announced that the Administration will shut out 2/3rd of the public land slated for oil shale development, will instead be closed to it.

Just a first in what is going to be another really long four years.

US limits oil-shale development in Rocky Mountains

By: PAUL FOY | Associated Press
Published: November 09, 2012

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) The U.S. Department of the Interior scaled back a Bush administration plan Friday to lease Western range lands for development of oil shale and tar sands, the unconventional sources of oil found in pockets of the Rocky Mountains.

Federal officials said they were set to make 1,250 square miles of public land available for commercial leasing in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. That's a third of the range lands that President George W. Bush planned to offer, and the new administration said it was taking wilderness-quality lands off the table.

On paper, the Rocky Mountain oil shale deposits could yield a great abundance of oil more than 1 trillion barrels but environmental groups say it would involve ripping up public lands and depleting scarce sources of water. Political leaders in Arizona and Nevada and farmers worry about a diversion of Colorado River water. Big-game hunters oppose the intrusion of mining. Thousands of pages of comments have been filed on the plans.  Click here to read the full

Here a just a few of the many things to come.  After all that happened in the last four years, do you even know what had been put on hold until after the election?

Yes, “We the People,” elections do have consequences!

Are U.S. Election Campaigns Corrupted by Non-Profits?

The subject of campaign fraud caused by illegal, foreign donations made to U.S. nonprofit organizations, is quite intriguing.  The claim is one that warrants understanding and likely fixing.

Although United States political campaigns are legally bound not to accept donations from foreign sources, nonprofit organizations can and do donate to political candidates of their liking.  And, these nonprofit organizations can and do accept donations from anyone without prerequisite of U.S. citizenship.

So, if that isn’t enough to raise the hair on the back of your neck.  Try this thought on for size.  Lets say that a certain President said that “he’d have more flexibility after the election.”  Now, lets add to that the fact that a certain foreign Prime Minister has been acquiring a lot of nationalized oil rights and nationalized oil producing ownership.  And, lets add to this that a U.S. Senator has told us that the EPA has delayed implementation of major increases in costly increases to regulatory oversight expected to affect the loss of nearly 900,000 U.S. jobs.  Lastly, lets add the ability of foreigners to donate to U.S. environmental groups, who do in turn, donate lots of cash to political candidates who agree with their action agenda of environmental policy.

Would you agree that this is “Global Economic Warfare?”
