For years I have known that a great part of the problem growing from within the United States is the trend that the Unions have a strangle hold on Teachers and the curriculum. Many years ago I spent each Thursday for 3 years with a student attending WWU for a teaching degree. The last year, shortly before graduation the BEA (Bellingham Education Association) held a tea for soon to be graduates in the field of Education. At this tea, the student was clearly informed that in order for the graduates to have any future in the Bellingham School District, they would have to be actively involved with the BEA and support the local Democrats. That is an unholy alliance that should not be allowed to continue. To be a teacher must be about educating students, not permanent indoctrination to a political party, affiliation and philosophy.
Yours in Truth ;-) Shelly
