Whatcom County and Bellingham are gearing up for a big election cycle that will guide the direction of each for decades. There will be many opportunities to ask the candidates questions. The Bellingham Tea Party has sent out certified letters and reserved the Whatcom Community College, “Syre Center”, to host their 2nd Annual Candidate Forum. Last years forum was well run with a wide variety of questions, so I trust this years will provide the same opportunity to see the Candidates and hear what each of them envision for Bellingham/Whatcom County.

District 1 – Position B:

- Pete Kremen (Whatcom County Executive – 4 terms http://blogs.bellinghamherald.com/politics/politics/pete-kremen-challenges-tony-larson-for-whatcom-county-council-seat/)
District 3 – Position B:
- Barbara Brenner (Whatcom County Council – many terms bbgun1010@aol.com )
- Allan Black (Blaine City Council – partial term – undergoing Democrat certification
Just found this link to what appears to be a conservative site that is also doing their job to vet the local political races and their connection to the communities socio-political-economic trends: WallyWondersWhy.com We could use more websites that are dedicated to watching over Whatcom County from a “conservative” bent.
